The game is excellent one the best games of 2024 .What is not excellent is the way my deluxe edition was delivered and they can only offer you 10 dollars off when they didn't event deliver on the best buy pre order steelbook and shipped the game really bad with the thinnest of protection that's not right they get to treat long time customers this way.

Personally I didnt have any issue with receiving the deluxe edition the day of release. The extra preorder steelbook arrived a day later in a sturdy shipping box and was undamaged. Maybe this varies by region but I thought Best Buy did a great job for this release. FYI I preordered in Dec 2023.

Where is my preordered exclusive steel book case or Midgar Bangle DLC code? You cancel my Jan 23, 2024 order by accident, then tell me to reorder over the phone when I call, and I still get nothing for preordering. If I knew I wouldn't get any exclusive items for preordering, then I would have preordered from Gamestop or Amazon. At least those company honor the customers what was ordered. Pre-ordered as soon as it became available 5 months ago, so no issues there. Delivered day of release, undamaged. The bonus steel case shipped separately though. Looks exactly like the FFVII: Remake - Deluxe Edition box.

I bought the Deluxe edition and received everything timely and properly. The price for the Standard edition was $70, so the extra $30 for Deluxe was well worth it considering all the things it brought.

This is exactly what you didn't know you needed from Final Fantasy 7 - I'm really enjoying sharing this experience with my siblings. Pic is the neat steel book I received with Deluxe Edition.

I had no problems with my pre-order, it came with the extra steelbook case like it said it would and picking up was fast and easy. Great game and great experience!

Just got off the char with a rep from Best Buy and they said that they are not able tk send me the steel case that came with my delux edition pre order. When I pre ordered the game they confirmed it in writing that I would get steel case with my order. Good thing I took screen shots of the messages and emails. Because this will be sent to their corporate office.

Damaged game, no SteelBook preorder

My steelbook was damaged by FedEx in shipment and Bestbuy said it's a gift they aren't obligated to fulfill it. Never even made it to my hands and the deluxe edition is damaged to with no packing in the oversized box. Bestbuy had me travel to a store and hour away only to be told no they couldn't replace it. You can't even call stores to verify what they have in hand anymore. F Bestbuy cancel your memberships and for those who didn't get the SteelBook you should really return your orders on principle.

This review is not for the game just the condition it arrived. Im seeing many people are havong the same issue with their best buy order. The case on the soundtrack is cracked.
