To put it simply, this is FFVII Remake on steroids, everything that was flawed before has been improved. Graphics, music, combat, story, side quests, characters, voice acting, everything is fantastic.

An incredible game with even better combat and story than FF7 Remake. The artbook and mini soundtrack were really worth it! Glad I had a chance nab this edition.

This game met and exceeded expectations in every way. You will be blown away at the level of detail. You may love or hate the number of things there are to do in the game, there are more mini-games than you can imagine for better or worse, but they are largely optional if you want to stick to the story. The gameplay is rock solid, all characters are fun to play as. I'm really impressed how the implemented the original story with new twists.

Excellent game, good story and wonderful retelling of a legendary game. Just wish it wasn't padded with so much, fluff, but a good game none the less!

I played OG FF7 which was and is still a great game. Now for Rebirth it is a truly beautiful game and the world the team made gives justice to all those that loved OG. The team that made this installment truly packed in every little thing they could think of to keep the player immersed. I will admit I find some of the side stuff annoying, but a lot of it was enjoyable and I can say without a doubt this game was worth every penny. I will be continuing to play this game for quite awhile and I look forward to the next installment.

This is a fantastic game 10/10 Action RPG. This is the second game in a trilogy so it's recommended to play Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade before playing this entry but it's defiantly worth playing both games. This edition comes with a physical sound track that is outstanding and a beautiful hardcover artbook. If you can find the deluxe edition for retail price; it's a must buy.

The game has its faults, including invisible walls, odd storyline moments, and abrupt jumping. However, if you look pass the Square Enix faults, what you have is one of best games ever made with some of the smoothest combat for an action JRPG.

This game is another brilliant entry in the Final Fantasy series, joining other recent titles such as Final Fantasy XIV, Final Fantasy XVI and Final Fantasy VII Remake in a modern golden era of Final Fantasy games. This game is expertly crafted to include breath-taking cutscenes, stunning graphics, and an open world jam-packed with minigames that lend to immersive world building. Part 2 of the remake trilogy, this is definitely a game you can't miss.

It really lived up to the hype. This game is so nuch better than part 1 Remake. It has tons of mini games. They may be too hard for some people, including me, but you have the option to skip them to proceed with main story line. The combat system is great. I enjoyed it so much more than the Remake. Actually I didn't know I would love it this game so much since Remake part 1 was not so interesting to me.

Having been a huge fan of the original on Playstation 1, I am thrilled to see this title resurrected in today’s world. It has been a pleasure to play and experience again in a new way and altered story while also being a visually appealing game. The graphics are stunning and cutscenes breathtaking with the amount of care and work put into them. New or old players have an excellent game to enjoy and have an all around good amount of fun playing.

This was exactly what I wanted from remake. While not a perfect remake, some of the story exploration they did was really cool. Loved the addition of Gilgamesh!! Only gave it a 4 start because they did my guy Cid dirty. He was not cranky enough!

This game is fantastic. I played it from Thursday all the way through Sunday and finished it after work on Monday. I was smiling every minute. The characters are delightful, the music is incredible, the graphics are very good and the animations are all smooth and very detailed. I loved the world and can't wait for the final game to come out. I'm currently working on new game plus and completing everything, which I am enjoying.

Great game, definitely getting my money's worth out of play time. The preorder came mostly on time but I'm learning that was the case for a lot of preorders, just hope they can make it a little better for future ones. Best buy steelbook is nice to have but not as good as the collectors edition.

This is a great sequel to an amazing series. If you liked the gameplay and story from the first game, then you'll love this.

This game is absolutely amazing! The story is compelling. The graphics are amazing as long as you are not expecting the best of the best from every angle. I gave this five stars and still say that it is not for first timers because you really need to play the first game before you play this one.

I personally loved the first ff7 remake and thought that it would be hard to top, but rebirth is way better than the first. There are so many side quests which give the game so much extra content to explore which is very satisfying. So far I love this game so much and have been playing for hours on end with no stop. The story is great and the characters are all not only solid characters in their own right, but some of the most recognized in the entire Final Fantasy franchise. My only complaint about the game is my favorite character Barret. I love his character the most in the entire game and he was absolutely PERFECT in the first ff7 remake but now they made him act more like a comic relief character. Although Barret always had a kind side, they seem to have changed his personality too much which is a bummer. Barret is still the best no matter what!

Fantastic game, with some flawed voice acting and a little too much padding. The difficulty seems a little too forced and the gameplay detracts a little too much from the original to place it amongst the greats. The padding, the jarring voice change, and difficulty make replaying the game seem less desirable. While I prefer turn-based, I feel that this game, and FFVIIR, have the best battle-system out of the modern games. Probably the best since 12, MMOs not included.

There's so much charm and personality here that it's well-worth the full price and more. I'm over 100 hours in already and I still haven't beat the game. There are a few annoyances here and there, but it's nothing so devastating that it completely ruins the experience.

Great story and awesome gameplay! Some of the negative reviews sound like personal problems rather than problems with the game. Deluxe editions are limited. If thats your problem blame square enix. Ultimately they were probably the ones that decided how many copies to print.
