Great story and awesome gameplay! Some of the negative reviews sound like personal problems rather than problems with the game. Deluxe editions are limited. If thats your problem blame square enix. Ultimately they were probably the ones that decided how many copies to print.

The game is wonderful, but I don't want to write a game review. The shipping and delivery of this product was top notch. I received my item with no visible wear or damage anywhere. It was perfect - like could use as a collector item perfect if I was in to that sort of thing. I'm not, so I opened it up. The packaging is great, and the contents are better than expected. Yes, it comes with two game cases (one normal, and one steelbook). The steelbook is really beautiful and could be used for display or for storing the game discs. The art book is a cool add that I liked browsing through while reminiscing about playing the OG game many, many years ago. The soundtrack is superb. Best Buy delivered the digital DLC immediately on release day and there were no issues with redemption. Gold star. The game is great. Really. It lives up to the promise of the packaging and then some.

Exactly what I expected and didn’t expect. Rebirth is phenomenal and exceeds my expectations. From refining the combat in Remake to expand characters (side characters), improved side missions, and the King himself Sephiroth. It’s even more fun comparing with the OG Final Fantasy VII line from line scene to scene. I only have two negatives with this game. Without spoiling I didn’t care for Cait Sith side section for Chapter 11 the mechanics will stress you out it could’ve been better. Chapter 13 I felt the first 3 hours was a bit too draining but it picks back up. You’ll have a blast with this game at a whopping 130 hrs completing all side missions with the main story. Be ready to sit down for 10-12 hours straight you won’t let your controller down. We’ll all have to wait for the grand finale. Part 3 of the series to see the final showdown.

Better than Remake! About halfway through the game and really enjoying it. The Deluxe edition was so worth purchasing, love the extras that came with it. This game did not disappoint and looking forward to playing more!

A great follow-up to Remake with a divisive, yet interesting change of events to the original PSX game's plot (so far, I've not finished the game yet) and loads of side content and amazing combat with genuine depth to it.

35 hours in and I will say this game is in now in my all time top 3 games. Lots to do and side quests, story is amazing including the changes from the original game. Graphics are smooth on 65" Samsung OLED. Must buy.

The game has everything, for fans of Final Fantasy and for newcomers. You'll want to play remake first to keep up with the story, but it expands on the first game with a great open world and gripping story.

Yes, Chadley talks a bit too much. And yes, the frame rate in quality mode will give you motion sickness. Other than that, no complaints. Music is fantastic. Gameplay is fantastic. Game is just fantastic.

The rating in this section should be for the GAME. If you need to rant about the company, do it in the correct section. Preordering ALWAYS has a risk of running out of items. If you didn't order properly that is your own fault. I was able to pick up my copy and steelbook in store as I chose store pickup. Albeit one day late. I'm okay with that. It's not the end of the world. Lets talk about the GAME people. Tell us how it plays, what the story is about, what your enjoying at the moment. Tell us what part surprised you because you didn't see that coming. I'm looking forward to playing this and I really do want everyone to have fun with it too. This deluxe edition was in pristine condition when I received it. The game is amazing and hits in all the right places. I kind of wish they focused more on some of the characters, but overall I really enjoyed everyones personality and emotions they express throughout the game. It really got me in the feels at key moments. My honest opinion, I never really cared for Tifa in the original game, but she is definitely one of the best characters in the story in the remade games and im looking foward to the third one!

I could write way too much about the time i spent with this game. This game, much like the first, simply makes you fall inlove with the main party. 134hrs in and i havent felt the burden of ‘is this over yet?’ (Dont worry, I’m 100% this, can easily be completed in half the time to someone casually enjoying the game). Each character feels super unique in their playability and gives the player agency to master each of their skills and tributes in their own way. Mini games galore, this game is fun if nothing else. Enjoy the tears, the laughs, and the gripping tale of Cloud, Barrett, Tifa, Red XIII, -redacted-, -redacted-, -redacted-, and -redacted-.

Rebirth lives up to the hype. It's everything I expected and so much more. So many mini-games, quests, and other additions. Ignore the poor ratings others left that had no regard to the game itself.

Without spoiling anything, this game improves on Final Fantasy Remake in almost every single aspect. The gameplay is fluid and way more accessible with the new additions to the combat and traversal. The side quests are more interesting and don't feel like just fetch quests and padding like in Remake, and the visuals are truly some of the best. Performance mode can leave something to be desired but i found no issues playing in Quality mode throughout my entire gameplay. I loved Final Fantasy VII Rebirth and all the extras that came with the Deluxe addition are well worth the money too. I can't wait for the next installment and much more to come from this franchise.

Amazing sequel to part 1. Graphics look sharper and open world reallly gives it a more classic final fantasy experience. Plus the deluxe version goodies are a great addition to my collection

Best buy had 1 copy left in store near my location at the time and finding a copy within retail was nye impossible so when i saw it was available i had to get this asap. I'm a collector so i have no intentions of opening this but i was worried that it was going to be damaged but thankfully no damage on the box at all the game overall is phenomenal and a continuation of the beautiful from the ground up remake we have been blessed to experience again so i look forward to continuing this beautiful journey not to mention my mind being BLOWN AWAY WITH ZACK FAIR coming into the mix and playing a i presume big role which would be criminal if he didn't!

Rebirth is the second installment of the FF7 Remake Trilogy, and as such improves on the formula that game offers. With plenty of side quest and mini games to offer alongside the main story campaign you have hours of entertainment for your dollar. Rebirth adds to the gameplay of Remake's DLC, Intergrade, with synergy combat making party formation and experimentation rewarding. Defy destiny with Rebirth. I won't say there isn't any downsides to the game, as some tutorials don't explain gameplay thoroughly, as it's expected that you've played Remake. With that in mind, however, Rebirth is a solid 9/10.

This game is a great follow up to the remake. It makes small improvements making an already great game better and you finally get to explore more open areas.

Absolutely loved remake, and this game improves on it in almost every aspect. The steelbooks that I got are also a pretty cool addition to my collection.
