what can be said about this game and this edition that hasn’t already been mentioned? “amazing”, “incredible”, “top tier gaming”, all these things have been declared in days past, but this fact makes them no less true. this is the next gen gaming experience you have been waiting for. with stunning visuals, audio and insanely quick/smooth action and gameplay, rebirth is a truly overwhelming experience: this is truly an incredible title, be you an old final fantasy fan, or someone unfamiliar with the series or even VII. buy the ticket, take the ride. you won’t regret it

Fantastic game, with some flawed voice acting and a little too much padding. The difficulty seems a little too forced and the gameplay detracts a little too much from the original to place it amongst the greats. The padding, the jarring voice change, and difficulty make replaying the game seem less desirable. While I prefer turn-based, I feel that this game, and FFVIIR, have the best battle-system out of the modern games. Probably the best since 12, MMOs not included.

Man oh man this game brought back awesome memories! Graphics and stories line were amazing gameplay was good. This is a must play game.

I was 10 years old when I played the original, it was my first console and game and I only bought it because the cover of the game looked cool through the glass. Best decision I made because playing and completing the original was so satisfying. The nostalgia is real and it feels so good playing this 24 years later. Everything about this game is excellent I have nothing bad to say. I’m only on chapter 4 with 25 hours as I’m taking my time with everything and just letting it flow. Steelbook also looks great in my collection

The battle system has gotten even better. The game is a blast. The story of course has changed and it will be a hit or miss for some. I like some of the changes but some I don't. But even though I feel like a kid again playing one of my favorite games with an updated graphics engine and I love the combat it's so fun and so much to learn and try with the materia system.

No complaints here, have put a ton of hours on the game and still probably haven’t even gotten halfway through. Great story as well

Great game. A reimagined FF7 with open world areas full of things to do. It just picks up where FF7 Remake left off but is even better.

I preordered the deluxe edition on September 20th, 2023 for in-store pick up so I could pick it up no problem after work on release day to go home and enjoy. My app said my order was ready for pick up today just to be told when I walk in that my item isnt even in the store. Associate said its probably on the truck and that if it is, it wont be available until they've sorted it which happens after hours so more than likely won't be available until tomorrow. Wish I would have known ahead of time that I wouldn't receive it on Day 1 and I could gone through another outlet like Target, GameStop, Amazon, etc. This is frustrating as I planned to take the day off of work March 1st to enjoy my game, but now I can't and have to wait until 10am tomorrow to enjoy. It wasn't until 6pm that I received the email that my order has been delayed and now may take a few days? Absolutely ridiculous. The point of pre-ordering this item 5 months ago was to guarantee I would have it on the day it is released. Best Buy had 5 months to prepare this item and failed to provide the product. Keep this review in mind when you try to pre-order from them in the future.

FF7 Rebirth improves on everything that FF7 remake did and lays homage to the original. A great option for any Final Fantasy fan

Awesome game currently at almost 200 hrs of gameplay, was well packed and came in perfect condition, 100% recommendation!

Slight hiccup with the preorder process, but BestBuy resolved it themselves and I received the item on time. As a rule, I do not preorder anything. This game, however, I did not hesitate to preorder, and, not surprisingly, it is fantastic. Only had to wait four years for it. I haven't been a huge fan of the more recent FF titles that have been released, but FF Remake and now FF Rebirth have been a great time. Rebirth expands on all the good qualities of Remake. Highly recommended.

Im only on the junon area so my review cant day much..but i enjoyed the first one so imsure ill enjoy this one as well. Combat is intresting and keeps me engaged switching from character to character and paying attention to the enemies weakness and move set. Plot wise i cant say kuch but i am concerned about changes in character personality that i have heard about from a friend but ill get there when i get there. Hopefully this game doant jump the shark to bad but so far i am enjoying myself.

It’s a good game. Put around 50 hours in it and still on chapter 7 or so but I’m having fun. There is a bit of bloat in side missions and things that drag along but it’s pretty manageable.
