Graphics were great. Gameplay was fast paced and fun. Never played the original before but I enjoyed the story in this remake.

Great reimagining of the original game. Don't go in thinking you're playing an exact replica of the original. Most of the same beats are there, but a lot of other stuff is mixed in. The PS5 better looks better than the PS4, but kind of what you would expect with better hardware. They tweaked some things between the PS4 version and this one and makes it a better game. The DLC with Yuffie is also really fun, but wise was a bit longer, or better yet a full game.

The graphics are amazing on the PS5 and the story of the DLC was amazing. If you like Final Fantasy you will love this remastered one. It makes you feel like you are actually in the game.

This game is a masterpiece and this remake is a thing of beauty. As a guy who played Final Fantasy 1 on the original NES and every game after, this is really a work of art and I am loving every moment. Very happy to have this in my possession. Wish it was less than $70. Price could be better but still, had to have it.

The PS5 version has a performance mode that runs in 60FPS without sacrificing the graphical effects and improvements to textures, lighting and particles. A joy to play. The PS5 version also features the additional story chapters that introduce Yuffie - another classic character. Be wary not to buy a used copy of the game as you won't get the additional DLC content that is linked to a one-time use code. This is a must play for fans of the genre and Final Fantasy, young and old, new or returning. Treat yourself!

Never played the original version but this version is amazing for story, visuals... all around fun experience

Decent story, but they have great gameplay mechanics, stunning graphic and good soundtracks. For me, this franchise is always in my heart. I remember I spent at least 50 hours playing the original Final Fantasy VII when I was a kid. Even though I got FF7 Remake from PS Plus, I still wanted to get a copy to replay it on my PS5. If you are an FF fan, definitely you should buy it. If you are newcomers, you will not regret spending your time and money on this game.

I have been playing Final Fantasy games for over 30 years and I am really excited to get this one and keep playing with different modes.

I haven't played through a FF game in quite a while but I am really enjoying this game. The remaster is great, with some great controls, graphics, and gameplay. It's definitely a game that I would recommend to anyone that's a fan of the series.

As a Final Fantasy VII fanboy from way back in 1997, I couldn't wait for this to be released. Revisiting Midgar was breathtaking. Despite not being a turn-based combat system, the combat in FF7R is intense and quite enjoyable. The visuals are top notch. The music is an organic evolution of the original soundtrack, which was one of the best in all of gaming. The only negative is that we have to wait for more.

Great game, great upgrade too! Of course if you own 7R on PS4 Id recommend just getting the Yuffie episode digitally for way cheaper. For newcomers I can't think of a better place to start off with this masterpiece.

This game is a must have for any final fantasy fan. The game is a great addition to the ps5. The graphics from the ps4 version to this look amazing. I greatly enjoy the addition to to the extra content this game offers. Purchased game on sale. Since this isn’t a deluxe or special edition I wouldn’t pay full price for this version.

Such a fantastic RPG that should be played by anyone who likes the genre. Gameplay, Music, and art are all great. Voice Acting is good as well. Some shortcomings but overall fun. I have yet to play the DLC though.

In my opinion, Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade has everything anyone could ever ask for: amazing storyline, stunning visuals, beautiful soundtrack, loveable characters, exciting combat mechanics, etc. If you own a PlayStation console, I strongly recommend for you to, at the very least, give it a try. This is one of those games that I'll cherish for a very, very long time!

Even for those new to the franchise, this makes for a great standalone game. For those that grew up with the original, though, you will have an enhanced experience. The game delivers the right hits of nostalgia when you hear certain music kick in. I played through the PS4 version on my friend's console but am happy to own it for PS5 now. I'd go so far as to say this is the only reason I purchased a PS5.

Graphics look really nice. 60 FPS on performance mode is worth it as an upgrade from ps4. Beware that the DLC with yuffie is just a one time use code. The disc contains only the base game. One disc instead of two like ps4. I was disappointed that it’s pretty much just the ps4 release no difference in the title or icon. (Weird complaint just wanted it to seem different) Just get the dlc unless you are a collector.

Many thanks to customer service for helping me get this for $20 when the digital DLC by itself costs $30+

Played this 3 times now and still love it waiting for part 2 :)
