Don’t sleep on this game even if you’ve never gotten into the franchise. It’s a complete overhaul of the original and playing now, I still love the old one but this one feels so current gen, like it was made by some really talented artists. The gameplay feels like nothing else and music really immerses you into the game.

Great game. Sony created the original final fantasy 7 during PlayStation 1 in 1997. The game was very addicting. Completely amazing, it took a couple of years to fully make. This game is much better. Same all star story, but graphics, sound, definition of each character from movement to items will make you realize the AMD processor output

Any true RPG enthusiast will know everything about this game and even for the newcomers it’s an amazing one to start the journey. Purchased and played the PS4 version and it was so incredible I had no doubt in my mind I had to get this on release. High frames, incredible graphics, amazing story. The combat system is highly immersive and very fast pace. The fun never ends!

If you're wanting to relive some of the past magic you had with the original FFVII with enhanced graphics and smoother gameplay, this is a great choice. Characters are nicely drawn as well as the environment. Game flows fairly fast compared to old PS1, but not complicated. Fun overall

Wow! Idk why it took so long but it was totally worth it for this beauty of a game. I did have the PS4 edition and I felt, with my set up, that PS5 upgrade was a noticeable difference, the colors really pop! I do wish the dlc had some more to it but it was fine too.

Its Final Fantasy 7 Remake Integrade! Its kinda like a sequel in disguise and I love that! Yuffie's story takes a character who was relegated to the peanut gallery in the original Final Fantasy 7 and turns her into a very likable superstar worthy of carrying a franchise. If you can't tell I am digging this game so far!

I have minimal history with Final Fantasy and JRPGs. But when looking for a good summer game to play on PS5, I was intrigued by reviews. Without knowing what to expect, i have been blown away! The music is incredible, the combat is fluid yet tactical, and the character design is some of the best I have ever seen!

Loved the original FF7, and love the Remake as well. It’s not a shot-for-shot remake of the original, but it’s very well done and keeps you engaged. This is the first Episode, focusing on Midgar. It takes some time to get used to the mechanics, but once you do it’s very rewarding.

FFVII Remake is like the name says, a remake of one of the most memorable and popular games ever made. The graphics, the story, and the playability are all top notch. You didnt have to have played the original to enjoy this, yet it does make it that much better. Would recommend

Gorgeous and fun game that really shows some of the amazing graphical capabilities of the PS5. It's a shame that it ends right when the original game started to really get good. I hope in the meantime while we wait for part 2, they come out with more side stories like they've done with Yuffie's.

Was interested to see what this would look like after it was announced, and boy was I amazed. It’s a stunning remake, looks fabulous even in “performance” mode, such a looker. Really what a remake should be, rather than these remaster of very recent games like Uncharted 4

Wow. It had been over 20 years since i last played the original FF7. Holy cow what an evolution. The graphics are amazing, the controls don't take long to master, and the classic storyline remains. I am looking forward to the upcoming Parts 2 and 3.

Just when I thought this game couldn't get any better but here we are on PS5 with even better graphics, textures and frame rate. the game is a masterpiece! innovative gameplay, magical music, and great story and characters to engage with. a worthy remake of a classic.

The care in remaking this classic shows in all aspects. The music especially. This game has something for everyone regardless if you're a Final Fantasy veteran or new to the series. The PS5 enhancements make this the definitive version.

Great story although not a complete story like the original game from decades ago. Expect the next installment. Ends on a cliffhanger but overall satisfying midpoint ending. Graphics for the Ps5 version is great and play a smooth 60fps. A definite buy when on sale.

The amount of detail they put into this game, and the emphasis on character development is any final fantasy fan's dream come true. I am 10 hours in and feel like I am experiencing ff7 for the first time all over again. Could not recommend more!

As far as remakes go...this should be the hallmark you want to meet when doing it. I really enjoy this game and the ability to have multiple styles of play (including the old school menu system RPG gameplay of the 90's). Great game! Great remake! Great quality!

Graphics are amazing gameplay is meh and imo compared to the original this is a terrible remake all the changes and additions actually drag the game down imo.

Very happy I preordered this game; it's extremely enjoyable. The graphics are stellar, the combat has just the right amount of challenge, and the characters--even the minor characters--are well developed. Midgar feels truly alive in this game. I recommend it.

This is the first Final Fantsy game I’ve played and I’m glad Sony offered it as a PS Plus. I played the ps plus version and it was so good I bought the physical version to keep. It’s one of the best games I’ve ever played.
