This game is incredible! Can't wait for Rebirth!!!

Final Fantasy 7 Remake is a classical Remade for a new generation, and yet holds the nostalgia for the old fans like me. Keep in mind this is only part 1 of the three part remake trilogy. This game is awesome! Regardless if you are new to Final Fantasy 7 or grew up with the original like me, this game will grab your attention and keep you wanting more. Definitely recommend this for the PS5! There are definitely some changes in this game from the original games story so it’s an reimagining or a retelling of the story and some big mysteries but in good way imo, depending if you like the changes or not. But even if you play this game blind and have not played the original game, you will still enjoy the remake on its own. Can’t wait for what the future unfolds in the story in the next 2 parts.

If you're wanting to relive some of the past magic you had with the original FFVII with enhanced graphics and smoother gameplay, this is a great choice. Characters are nicely drawn as well as the environment. Game flows fairly fast compared to old PS1, but not complicated. Fun overall

Wow! Idk why it took so long but it was totally worth it for this beauty of a game. I did have the PS4 edition and I felt, with my set up, that PS5 upgrade was a noticeable difference, the colors really pop! I do wish the dlc had some more to it but it was fine too.

Its Final Fantasy 7 Remake Integrade! Its kinda like a sequel in disguise and I love that! Yuffie's story takes a character who was relegated to the peanut gallery in the original Final Fantasy 7 and turns her into a very likable superstar worthy of carrying a franchise. If you can't tell I am digging this game so far!

I have minimal history with Final Fantasy and JRPGs. But when looking for a good summer game to play on PS5, I was intrigued by reviews. Without knowing what to expect, i have been blown away! The music is incredible, the combat is fluid yet tactical, and the character design is some of the best I have ever seen!

FFVII Remake is like the name says, a remake of one of the most memorable and popular games ever made. The graphics, the story, and the playability are all top notch. You didnt have to have played the original to enjoy this, yet it does make it that much better. Would recommend

Was interested to see what this would look like after it was announced, and boy was I amazed. It’s a stunning remake, looks fabulous even in “performance” mode, such a looker. Really what a remake should be, rather than these remaster of very recent games like Uncharted 4

Great story although not a complete story like the original game from decades ago. Expect the next installment. Ends on a cliffhanger but overall satisfying midpoint ending. Graphics for the Ps5 version is great and play a smooth 60fps. A definite buy when on sale.

The care in remaking this classic shows in all aspects. The music especially. This game has something for everyone regardless if you're a Final Fantasy veteran or new to the series. The PS5 enhancements make this the definitive version.

As far as remakes go...this should be the hallmark you want to meet when doing it. I really enjoy this game and the ability to have multiple styles of play (including the old school menu system RPG gameplay of the 90's). Great game! Great remake! Great quality!

Very happy I preordered this game; it's extremely enjoyable. The graphics are stellar, the combat has just the right amount of challenge, and the characters--even the minor characters--are well developed. Midgar feels truly alive in this game. I recommend it.

Graphics are amazing gameplay is meh and imo compared to the original this is a terrible remake all the changes and additions actually drag the game down imo.

Really great game, the upgrades to the graphics for the ps5 are amazing, on a 4K display you can literally count the threads of the characters clothing. I’m partial to Square enix and have played nearly every single title for over a hundred hours a piece.

It seems like this version updated everything from graphics to performance. It's really the best version of FF7R out there, plus it also includes the Yuffie DLC. The DLC was a great idea to include and can't wait to see what's in the upcoming release.

I really never got into Final Fantasy but i heard good things about the remake on the ps4. So i purchased this on the PS5 and i have to say it's a different type of game that I'm used to playing... but it's fun.

If you are a fan of the original then this remake will blow your mind. The graphics are amazing and the amount of things they added to allow players more time to spend in the world is awesome. The soundtrack is great as well.

First time playing the game and I’m about a third of the way through and I really like it. Took some getting used to as the gameplay is different from everything else I’ve played but overall good story arc and gameplay

Graphics are excellent and the story is compelling. Definitely brings back memories of the original. The only negative is this does not have the entire game, as it ends at the best part and unknown time frame on the next episode.
