Still Fun
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Playing this on the Switch was great. I never beat it during the first release (lost interest after a while) but being able to play a game wherever on the Switch really made this more approachable.

Highly recommend
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I played the original many years ago and didn't quite finish it on PS2. I didn't remember the story at all so it's like playing a new game for me. I like how this updated version plays and the ability to chose which class you want each character to be. It plays pretty well on Switch.

||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. One of the best RPG's from the PS2 now it's portable and the graphics are even crisper while on the go. How can you go wrong? I wish all the FF titles would release on switch.

Excellent game perfect for on the go
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is by far hands down the best final fantasy. It's more "new" compared to the some of the older titles and doesnt feel so dated. Great graphics, great mechanics and great story. A must buy!

One of the Better RPGs
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a highly underrated RPG. Originally released for the PS2, this updated version is a tad bit harder than the PS2 version, but the portability of the Switch makes it a must have.

Must own FF on the Switch.
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game has Japanese & English voice/text support & text for other supported ones. The visuals in the game REALLY look awesome. There is a double sided cover art which has a nice detail to the art. Also the this version adds new job systems, music, & a trial option that can earn you early items that can help you in story mode or in the trials itself. So if you are one that gets stuck in story mode & need better gear then head into trial mode & steal some powerful gear. Over all this is a must own FF game with beautiful art style & also if you are a fan of Vagrant Story on the PS1 then you will fall in love with this game.

MMO Action FF Style
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.FFXII was already an excellent game, but the Zodiac additions, as well as the Switch special features, make it a must buy for a JRPG fan. Also, taking it on the go is a blast!

Solid Port of a classic FF Game
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This version of the game runs smoothly and is portable, definitely one of the better aspects. It's a port of a classic game that came from the PS2 generation and is arguably the last great game that came from Square. Classic game, if you're a hardcore JRPG fan you can't go wrong with this one.

Excellent remaster, made better being portable.
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. One of the seemingly forgotten gems of the Final Fantasy series. Fun combat and characters mixed with a great story and made even better being on the Switch.

Great update for a very good game.
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Quality of life updates, including speed multipliers and difficulty options really make this older game much better. Need to travel across a map or leveling your characters? Easily speed up the game 2X/4X. Don't need the challenge, but want to experience the story and cutscenes? Adjust the difficulty as low as you want. I hope that more updates to older RPGs are created and inspired by this version. Total play time is reduced, cutscenes look great on Switch, and of course the job system is fascinating. The story kept me invested, even coming back to it after years.

Great JRPG on a handheld!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. One of the the best Final Fantasys on a portable device. Great and long story. Combat is a hybrid between a turn base and action. Highly recommend!

Good stuff.
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's a good game. The combat system's unique and feels like a very mini-RTS in terms of how it functions and flows. Although, I wish there was more customization in how your party AI can function in certain situations. Story is kinda eh (though I haven't finished it yet, I'm like halfway through): but so far it seems like a basic globe-trotting adventure to find the power to face an evil, all-encompassing empire. Voice-acting is hit-or-miss too. Don't think they redid any of it from the original release; some characters are good, some are bad and some are flat and in need of help. Music's good though, but not as memorable as other series' entries in my opinion. All in all, it's a good game, but not for everyone for reasons as stated above. Want more reasons, find another review alone, can't scratch my brain for criticisms here.
