Absolutely one of the best RPGs I've had the pleasure to play. Final Fantasy XII has always been a personal favorite of mine, ever since I played it back on the PS2, and this port certainly holds up. The added job system and numerous quality of life changes like autosave and a fast-forward button make this the definitive way to play this fantastic game. The story may not be the greatest, and the lip-syncing is yuck at best, but those are the only complaints I can really come up with. The re-orchestrated soundtrack is an absolute treat to listen to and the open-world style gameplay remains as my favorite even after all of these years. Put simply, I can't recommend this game enough. If you even mildly enjoy RPGs, this game is a must-play.

Sure, this is a remake of the Playstation 2 2006 game. But, it offers some interesting upgrades and options that really alter the experience from the first time I played this. For starters, the "Gambit system". Wow! I can assign each member of my party various tasks, e.g. instantly heal the party if health dips below a certain level. Or attack enemies on sight. It feels good watching your party just handle business after you have set it all up. Which also make the sometimes tedious task of "Grinding" very fun and, well, not so tedious. Aside from an enjoyable story, smooth graphics and unique options during gameplay, (gambit system). The sound track to this game is well crafted. If you're a fan of the FF series, then, pick this up.

FF12 has to be one of my top 5 Final fantasy. So glad that this came out on the switch. Great game!

I needed to free up some space and wanted this game on physical when it was dirt cheap. The game is well worth the buy. I think the new add ons makes this a winner. Music and sound perfect. The only slight issue i had was getting use of camera angle changing with the right analog stick. Graphics are like PS3 graphics in an awesome way too. I say if you are curious about this game get it before the price goes back up.

Never finished it on the PS2, awesome to be able to have it portable and with the remaster options

It's great to experience Final Fantasy XII in HD and on a Nintendo platform. The updates to the battle and job system are a nice touch too. My only complaint is the price. The game is over a decade old.

I never played this game when it was originally released. The characters are taking awhile to grow on me, but I really enjoy the battle system in this game. I'm hoping I'll start to like this group of heros, but so far really enjoy the game nonetheless. I really hope that after working on Final Fantast VII, Square-Enix will start working on porting over Final Fantasy 13. Either way keep these classics coming!

I played this one on PS2. The game is better now and on the go, I will get two please!

Quite different from the turn-based nature of previous Final Fantasy games. The game instead has you give general strategies to your party (which you can take control of at any time during combat). Love it or hate it, I ended up really loving it, especially with the improvements of The Zodiac Age version.

Picked this up for the collection. If you love rpgs check this this out!

Great rpg on the go and nice story..low proce at Best Buy.

I bought this back on Black Friday, but have just gotten around to starting it. And OMG I wish I hadn't waited so long. The last FF I played was X, so I wasn't quite used to the combat system yet, but I soon caught on. I love everything about this game, from the license boards, to the clan Hunts, to the storyline. I'm about 40 hours in so far and it's hard to put it down.

I haven't got too far in yet, but this is a beautiful port. I don't feel like the graphics look too dated. Something about the character art lends itself to lower polys. Updated controls and whatnot seem great! Definitely a strong recommend if you happen to see it on sale and fancy a solid jrpg for on the go.

Quality Remaster with a solid story and a twist on classic Final Fantasy gameplay. I never played the PS2 version so I was very surprise at how good the game is.

Good story and good tweeks to combat to keep things feeling new.

Good game it’s amazing how they can fit a Ps2 game into a small portable system. Works great and runs great graphics are great for a portable system.

Never got to play FF12 when it was realized on PS2. Thrilled at the chance to final enjoy this great title on a portable service. The Nintendo Switch is definitely a fantastic console for JRPGs. Highly recommend this version as the added updates and quality of life features make the game play fantastic. Graphics look great.
