I have played all the final fantasy games for a long time now. I particularly remember 12 being one of my least favorite. I was pleasantly surprised that the up'ed graphics and revision of the license board was added to this version. The only complaint is the terrible view panning, but it is tolerable. Only played a few hours so far, but been a good experience for the people that don't own PS2 and wanted to replay the game.

Never played the orignal (shamefully I have it unwrapped for the PS 2 CE) but I wanted to check it out. I like the fast forward process that speeds up the mundane travel back and forth to the same location. The art and style is breaktaking for a PS 2 game remade for the PS4.

I played the original ps2 game back when it came out. I never finished it but this is a great way to experience the game again. The gameplay is a little different than the regular turn based final fantasy games, but is still fun. Recommended to anyone who likes a good jrpg.

I didn't get a chance to play this when I was younger, picked up the remaster for 20 bucks. Wow, this really exceeded all expectations. Gets a bit longer and stale at the end but definitely still fun. Feels like a cross between a turn based classic and an mmo.

Great remake. Gives a lot of improvements, the speed up makes grinding a thing of the past

Many people didnt play this game as it was released towards the end of the PS2 life cycle. Fortunately we all get to play this Final Fantasy classic on a modern system. The zodiac age system is fantastic and there are great add ons on the remaster. Must get if your a FF fan

This remastered version of Final Fantasy XII is a wonder to behold on the PS4. The combat system is fun and flexible thanks to the Gambit System, the characters are very likeable, and the game looks and sounds great. Definitely a wonderful addition to any gamer's library.

Masterfully perfected sequel to the before. FinalFantasy are the best RPG's available!!!

This is one of my favorite games from the ps2 era and I was so happy to have it revamped for ps4. One of the best things now is the ability to remaster games. If you like an mmo style vibe in battle this is your game. rich story and beautiful characters.

I’m so glad Square-Enix decided to remaster this game for PS4: the setting is beatutiful and the story is a little different from the other FF games in the series. Really looking forward to actually completing it this time around and can hardly wait to begin!

I like how they re-did the license board. The re-boot also significantly reduced the time needed to invest in grinding out levels. The only reason why I give it 4 stars is that the story has not changed, there is a subtle change (much like the original PS2 version) to the story of one of the main characters that it will give the appearance that they writers abandoned it entirely.

I had the original FFXII for PS2 way back in the day but never had time to finish it because of life circumstances. I always liked the world in FFXII, my first visit being in FFT. My PS2 is in storage somewhere, but now I can finally finish this game in HD!

Good game but do some research before u buy. The fighting style is kind of weird.

There are tons of PS2 games out there that are great but sadly they dont age well in terms of graphics. FF12 happens to be one of them, as much as I love my PS2 I have been spoiled with the level of graphics of todays games that I can't get myself to play on it. FF12 remaster not only brings a classic to current gen, it also brings tons of improvement that makes it so much better.

You need to buy this, it's one of the best final fantasy games of all time.

This is a remake of a PS2 game. It's an open world action RPG like Final Fantasy XV. It's not turn based like the older Final Fantasy games, but that's a good thing. There is easily 100 hours of gameplay in this thing, and it's only $40. A great deal!

It is so much more clearer! It all makes sense now...joking aside the game plays nearly the same and after 10 years from when I last played it is as if I played just yesterdayStill fun and looking forward to revenge on the 1000 Needles cactus attack

One of the best RPGs ever made. Definitely worth playing if you haven't
