Lots of folks didn't like this game when it came out because the Gambit system wasn't FF enough for them. I was somewhat one of those people. Put the game down for a year before eventually picking it back up and it rapidly became one of my favorite FF titles. This is a great remaster.

The zodiac job system adds more depth to the game with more customizable options for your characters. The speed up is a must if you want to farm or just generally go through the game. A warning though, once you use the speed multiplier, you don’t want to ever go back to normal speed.

Although a remaster instead of a remake, the graphics have had a major overhaul. This looks more like a game from the PS3 era than than the PS2 era. Gameplay hasn't changed, but the fast forward option is a blessing, since the game has a lot of grinding.

This is one of my favorite final fantasy games, and one that I think deserves much more recognition than it gets. This remaster adds plenty of new features (zodiac job system, ability to speed up movement and battles, etc) and spruces up the visuals a bit. There's enough of a refresh here to warrant another playthrough if you're a veteran, and obviously well worth your time if you happened to skip over this one in the PS2 days. The voice acting is fantastic for it's time, and the story is a classic rebellion against an evil empire, with some twists and classic FF faire.

I already had this in my collection, but decided to grab a copy for my cousin. This is his first Final Fantasy experience and he is loving it so far. This is my second favorite FF (behind X) and I am happy that I can revisit the experience on PS4.

So much fun playing this game again. Especially with all the upgrades to the graphics and musical score. More nostalgia than I knew what to do with. Definitely worth getting if you want to relive the game just how you remember it, but better!

So first of all, I played this game back in the day for PS2. I never managed to finish it due to all sorts of things going on in life, but I had been hoping for a remaster of some sort for quite awhile. Now that it's here, I can say I'm quite impressed with this newer version. Perhaps my favorite new feature is the fast forward option. I don't use it often, but when I want to farm for items or exp on easy enemies, it's quite nice to turn on quadruple speed and get to work. All in all, a great game that plays a little like an offline MMO.

Ff12 had had new life breathed into it. Graphically its aged gracefully. Three speed up option has made the game playable by today's standards of game speeds. A true classic that will become another generation's favorite.

This game is well worth the current sale price 19.99 let alone the full retail. The remaster is excellent and the speed multiplier makes it even better. Having tue game always on 2x speed it makes the pacing perfect.

Where to begin...Owned this for PS2, yet the camera being fixed as inverted did me in. How great is this game that you get to have a normal camera! The game is just fantastic with updated visuals, and for the first time in North America, you get the Japanese Job system. Simply great, with a ton of varied magicks and plenty of play time. The Challenge mode is great too, but definitely need to play through the main game and grind before tackling that challenge.

If you liked the original, you will like this. Nice upgrade in which you can run around faster, which makes traveling and leveling up much less tedious. I loved replaying this game, it was awesome.

This is a wonderful remaster of another Square Enix classic. I was a fan of the first and this has made me fall in love with a beautifully crafted world and interesting characters all over again. The graphics are amazing and it runs super smooth. Gameplay has change from the original U.S. Release which makes it feel brand new even if you've played it before. I can't stop playing this game and tweaking it's new job system. Lots of ways to strategize.

If you're looking to play a game with a great story, gorgeous graphics, and a well thought out fighting mechanic rpg, you've found it. Final Fantasy XII Zodiac Age is fun and you don't have to play any other final fantasy game to understand it. It's been upgraded from the Japanese PS3 version to PS4 and the visual difference is clear in the quality of the graphics. It's a great buy for even the most hard core of gamers.

If you played the original, you owe it yourself to purchase this gem again. One of the more underrated FF games of all time. And one that was truly ahead of its time.

Zodiac Age is not only a remaster but a huge improvement. They fixed the battle system giving you more options and flexibility on how to develop your character classes. It already has an epic story and soundtrack. The visuals have been cleaned up a little bit and still looks good even over a decade later. This is the best possible representation of the game.

If you like the old school RPGs then you will enjoy this game. Even after playing the original release this one felt new with the improved job system.

One of the Great FFs. The ability to increase the speed of battles and other minor improvements have really made this game more enjoyable for me.

FF12 is one of the best final fantasy games in the series. Any jrpg fan will love this game. Great story, characters, fighting system & world.

It's nice to return to Ivalice in HD. The game looks beautiful and is worth playing a second time if you've played this back in the PS2 days.

Long time final fantasy person here, the graphics have been upscaled nicely, and you can up to 4x fast forward the game during play to make battles faster, but they do become a bit more jarring - especially since it doesn't have a true turn by turn functionality. Overall, I skipped 12 the first time around, find myself getting rather into the storyline.
