FFXII: The Zodiac Age may ask us to revisit a PS2-era title, but for good reason. Presentation is improved and leveling is streamlined, with a progression system that makes things simpler. Square Enix could’ve made the towns less of a chore to navigate, but one may argue that’s the entire reason a game like this exists—to absorb you in its world. In that case, it succeeds.

Good for an HD Remake. Love the Zodiac Job System. Textures are unimpressive.

I really bought this for a family member and watched him play it he loved it me I couldn't get into the game get 6 characters throughout the game plus many guest characters that help you your party consists of three characters that you can watch out at any time during battle stories decent everything on the game seems to be decent you can do double class stuff like that

What a wonderful remaster of a game that many likely missed out on due to generational changes. I hope more developers take time to remaster gems like this that fell off the radar when focus was on the next generation of a console coming on.

I played the original on PS2 when it first came out and was not that into it for some reason this one is more appealing could be because f age i would suggest this game to a more mature gamer because of the complexity of the game.

Played it back then and I don't like this game. But I bought it on the cheap to have a final fantasy collection. The story is incomplete and rushed in the end, combat is too automatic for my liking. The main character doesn't need to exist and the story would have been the same.

I wasn't able to complete this game back when it was originally released on the Playstation 2. So, I was very excited to get my hands on this remaster. They've added a more in-depth leveling system for the characters, remastered most of the texture work. However, the thing that I was most looking forward to was being able to use a wireless controller with it.

It's been awhile since I've used my PS4. I can't complain starting out again with a classic that still continues to be enjoyable. The game was really great from 2006 plus it's better now with the HD graphics and the added features.

Final Fantasy XII was an excellent game on the PlayStation 2 that never really got the love it deserved. Most people thought the game strayed too far away from the teen angst storylines of previous entries and had rather sterile characters, but the mechanics of the game were amazing. With this remaster, hopefully more people will give it a chance.

This is a good remake of an underrated game from the ps2 era.
