    I remembered loving this game when it came out. I admit it seems I may have let nostalgia cloud my memory. Its not bad but it is definitely a little slow.

    When I played ffxii originally I liked the combat system but the job system felt lack luster. I like the new system and it's easier but magic feels underwhelming, I'm about 15 or 20 hours in so maybe I need more practice. The hunting system is boring however and not too rewarding. Also be aware of the job you initially choose for vaan as his base stats aren't suitable for non physical jobs, even though you are free to choose them his performance is underwhelming.
