This game has the perfect mix of turn based/action combat. If you like the old school combat then you'll love this after a little bit of practice. The updated graphics fit perfectly with modern hardware. Map overlay is brilliant and fast forward option is helpful. Buy this game.

Overall, it's a good game. I missed it when it came out on PS2. The downside is horrific voice acting on a few characters. Fortunately, all the cut scenes can be skipped.

I have all the Final Fantasy games and this one is just as good as the others, buy it!!

If you are a FFXII fan, stop what you are doing and get this game. It plays very well (running it on the Pro) and holds up better than many old games. For newbies, If you are looking for a JRPG with some length, fun story and Final Fantasy mithos, give it a try.

Great HD remake of final fantasy 12 with the added job system for each character. Wonderful story and very likable playable characters. Great for new and returning players. I've been playing final fantasy games since was out on the NES.. Will continue to support them.

FFXII initially released in the PS2's twilight years, to the regret of many fans who wished it to spread further but was stopped by its timing near the PS3 launch. Many years later, SE released an international version which never came overseas, but was lauded to fix problems noticed in the original. Now, we're very lucky to have the chance of playing FFXII remastered, which takes the best parts of the international version and dials it up to 10. Great remake of the original. Definitely a must have for fans of Final Fantasy.

This was a very good game when it was first released on PS2. Sure, there were a few issues with the job system, but overall, it was quite entertaining. The remake takes care of those issues while leaving the story and content fully intact. Excellent remake!

I was so happy they had this game on sale this was one of my favorite games.

An excellent remaster of one of the most underestimated episodes of the series released at the dawn of old-gen consoles. Veterans will appreciate the number of new features and newcomers can taste this great Japanese RPG with beautiful visuals.

I’ve been hoping for this remake for years. I’m glad they finally remade this game. The story is one of the best. The gameplay is fun and with the upgrades better than the original. I highly recommend this game for final fantasy fans

I loved this game when it first came out and the remake is even better.

It’s been years since I’ve played the original but I did put in about an hour and was impressed with the small changes they’ve made. Great story.

If you missed this one on PS2, make sure to pick up the remake on PS4.

Great remaster. More should be done this way. The game was ahead of its time and being able to turn on/off fast forward at will is great. Doesn’t hurt gameplay and helps move through to the moments you remember even more quickly.

What a fantastic remaster! Would recommend 10 out of 10 times!
