This is how you do a remaster. The gameplay is just like you remember, but added features like fast forward make grinding much smoother. Same great story, but the graphical upgrades make it even easier to appreciate.

I never finished FF 12 when it was originally released. Now I have a second chance. The retouched graphics look great. Everything shines much better than on the PS2 where it could look a bit dull. The retooled job system is a great addition especially as you advance farther in the game. A nice way to revisit one of Final Fantasy's best entries.

Final Fantasy XII is the first game of the series to depart from the traditional battle screen that all of the previous games of the series for somewhat famous for. And because of the I was very reluctant to give it a chance. Now many years later I am picking it up for the first time. I must say it is much better than I expected

Enjoyable port of an old, good game. I am not sure I like the new job system, but it might just take some getting used to.

Owned the original on PS2, and this version lives up to the standard and raises the bar. Graphically enhanced goodness.

Not just a remake of the original, FFXII Zodiac Age brings about an additional job system and a fluidity to the graphics. It's a great buy if you're just getting into final fantasy or a long time player.

I played this back on the ps2 and it was ok, was my least favorite FF at the time (was before FFXIII and all of those extremely lame games came out) but now with this new update I actually am enjoying this a lot. The main character still looks weird to me but the mechanics, gambits, gameplay, all of those are pretty solid. The graphics look like exactly what they are, a dated game with a beautiful uplift. For the most part everything looks great, just some of the characters look weird because of the way wrapping skins on 3D meshes used to be done. Even with those tiny tiny complaints this game is awesome. I would've given this game a 2 maybe a 3 on ps2 so that should tell you how much it's improved.

I played this game way back on the PS2 and never thought I'd get a chance to play it again. Very happy to return to Ivalice. Game plays just like I remember. Great story. Great characters. Fun game.

With the new touches to the job system added in plus the boost in graphics, this timeless gem just continues to shine. So much better than XV, which isn't even really a FF game to begin with.

I haven't played any of the Final Fantasy games in a while and this game is simply very good. The gameplay is strategically fun and the fast-forward feature really helps. I recommend.

Never played on the PS2 but this is better than XV OR XIII. Love the combat system and the story is intriguing. Updated graphics look great. Overall great remaster and worth getting.

I love this game! Brought back so much memories. It doesn’t look quite 4K on my 4K tv with ps4 pro but it’s somewhere between 1080-4K. Love the fast forward function as well.

In my opinion, this is the definitive FF game. From gameplay to story, this is a must have for any FF or rpg collector. Do yourself a favor and get a hold of this game.

As one of my favorite Final Fantasy games I can't really say how much I liked this remake. It goes beyond the usually frame-rate spike and resolution upgrade that many games have done before and make the game more enjoyable for a current audience. The skill system has been reworked for a more enjoyable balance and variety in characters, you can speed up the game to get through longer parts (something that I really want in every classic JRPG now) and the music has been remastered. It may not be for everyone but for any RPG fan this game is really the best of the best for setting the bar for re-releases.

There's not much new here, but it doesn't matter. It holds up to its age, plays well. Great music and updated graphics with the new job system make it feel fresh. Worth it.

In my opinion, FF XII was the last really decent Final Fantasy game and this version of the game makes a good game even better! Besides the graphical upgrades, you can "fast forward" through the slower walking sections which makes for a faster game. Highly recommended!
