Beautiful graphics, flowing combat, amazing story.

Slightly better graphics than the original. The 2x and 4x make the grinding in the game less tedious, which lets you enjoy a majority of the game in less time. In-depth, but not lenient customization, if you like min/maxing your characters, then do research about builds before you play. Overall a good waste of time.

Great game, neither my wife or I remember playing this story but vaguely remember playing the original. Not sure if I'm getting old or it really is that different. Time to busy out the ps2 and verify. Very good game. The license system is awesome the more I use it. I would certainly recommend this to all ff lovers

The game itself is great. This is the best and most complete version with the best visuals. The developers did a lot to make this game better for a new audience. Speed boosters is nice for grinding. I am currently playing through the FF Series again and am enjoying this quite a lot.

Still a good story line, hours of game pay and you can run different classes in and out of battle as needed

The classic ps2 game revamped with a better job system. I liked that you can now mix 2 classes/jobs together. The zodiac age job system is a big difference from the original, in that you can mix classes like Knight and Bushi, Foebreaker and Knight, or shikari. The graphics have been updated since the ps2 version, however they look more like PS3 than PS4. Which is the only reason I gave the game 4 stars instead of 5. The game is a LOT of fun!

I had this game on the PS2 years ago and this remaster for the PS4 is outstanding. There are many quality of life improvements that make playing the game more fun on modern consoles. The upgrade tree has been changed from the PS2 version, whether or not its better or worse is subjective.

I played the original PS2 release but couldn't get into the game. I decided to give it another try with this remaster and I'm hooked. The graphics and music have been updated for the PS4 and it's hard to believe this was a PS2 game. It looks great. I say give this game a shot. You won't be disappointed.

If you're a fan of final fantasy this is another great game really good graphics and story a must have.

This remake/remaster is faithful to the original game. Great nostalgia value for those who played on PS2.

If you are a fan of the Final Fantasy games, this is one you most definitely want to add to your collection. This is the best version of the game that it can be and it shows. Everything from the game play to the graphics and sound is the absolute best that it can be. A must own for any FF fan.

I am a die hard Final Fantasy Fan. I played these on original release, and just had to have it for my PS4

With the update to the combat, it feels like a new game while still keeping it a classic. Great buy.

Havent played the game on pa4 so i cant really say anything. Definitely not the too FF game from ps2

I'm so glad they remastered this. I was never able to finish it on the PS2 because mine died on me. Decent graphical update. I love how I can speed time up for when I'm grinding. Saves precious time. Enjoy the map update too since it used to be so easy to get turned around and lost in town.

Maybe I was overwhelmed at the time -- for whatever reason never gave FFXII the chance originally. The remaster is great, I recommend picking it up. No PS4 Pro enhancements here -- if you want higher quality you should check out the Steam or eventual Xbox One release.

The original was one of my favorite games and this is a great remaster. Improved graphics, and the new zodiac license board is a vast improvement over the original license board system creating actual unique characters. The speed boost helps with grinding and the longer boss battles as well

I had the PS2 version and if brings me back those sleepless nights of gaming. Great HD version!

I played this game when it first came out on the PS2 and wasn't impressed. Having played it recently again on the PS4, I have no idea why that was. The combat is pretty fun once you get used to the way the system is set up and is actually quite fun. The graphics get a nice boost from the original and the soundtrack is amazing. If you like job system or were looking for an offline MMO style game, this is it.

I love the Final Fantasy series, and I am pleased to see some of the best sellers, updated or reimaged for current gen systems, especially when provided the opportunity to play versions previously unavailable. I must admit, I prefer the play of the older version of FF to the newer stuff. More role playing and story, less action for me!! Now, if I could get my hands on an updated, reimaged version of the Xenosaga series. . .
