I've been a fan of the FF games since I was a kid and this is a modern refreshing addition to the beloved series. Faster battles and the warping attacks never get old. Would recommend checking it out if you're an RPG fan

I've played most of the final fantasy games and FFXV ranks pretty high in my list. New battle system, numerous side-quests, and an intriguing plot. Can't wait for the DLCs.

Honestly I've just driven around the country side listening to previous FF OST titles in game. What's not to love? Gorgeous graphics, combat is fast but deep. Love it.

I have not played a final fantasy game in years, and this one doesn't disappoint. Brings back lots of good memories with the play style, and the music. It is refreshing to see the genere is staying in such good hands

Finally, after the dredge that was the FF XIII series, comes a fun to play Final Fantasy game again. The dynamic of the fighting this time around makes for a fun change from the older point and choose style of play.

The graphics are amazing. The game mechanics are smooth and easy to use. The story is fairly engaging. Great overall game, but that's to be expected in this franchise.

The game has a very open world and world of warcraft type of gameplay with all the summons and item names from Final Fantasy games. Watch the movie before you play it.

My new favorite FF game. I love the new combat. The story grabs you by the heart. Florence + The Machine's touch on the soundtrack is beautiful and fits just right.

I remember playing Final Fantasy VI back in the day, when it was still turned based. I like the open world feel. Love the attention to details with the graphics.

I can wear a Cup Noodle cup of instant noodles as a hat and it will appear in every cutscene and the food is gorgeous. The visuals are great, magic is op, and what's more fun than running around with a group of 4 guys: a professional chef, a prince to be, an avid photographer and a flirtatious weight lifter?

I enjoyed my time with FFXV, I don't regret purchasing it. But in the end I can't help but feel a little let down overall. It definitely feels a bit rushed. There's "enough" content in my opinion, but it;s spread out very unevenly throughout the game. The first half of the game features a large sprawling open world with sidequests, minigames, and monster hunts. However, the second half of the game is completely linear. Small, narrow, linear corridors connected by short and messy cutscenes. Don't let your expectations get too high, it's a pretty-good game, but nothing groundbreaking.

This game is fun. This game is not whole. After 10 years of development, this game shows it has been through the ringer. The graphics are beautiful. The combat is great. Summons are amazing. The story falls.

Downloaded the demo and instantly pre-ordered FFXV. The graphics especially on 4K are top notch and the story is classic Final Fantasy. Worth buying a PS4 for.

a truly great entry in the Final Fantasy Series, and more importantly a return to the open world exploration after how much of a letdown FF13 was.

As a seasoned veteran to the series, I was skeptical about buying FFXV originally due to it looking and playing unlike any Final Fantasy game I've ever played. Purchased it out of loyalty to the franchise, however, and I'm beyond happy I did. The combat isn't turn based anymore, but its easy and fluid active combat keeps it from being too disconnected and makes it easier for new players to jump into. Doesn't hurt to have a decent enough storyline with four incredibly well put-together protagonists. It may not convince the "newbie" to try the rest of the series, but it's more than enough to keep dedicated fans coming back. Perhaps not the best entry to Final Fantasy, but as a game on its own, FFXV is incredible.
