I was originally skeptical about how this Final Fantasy game would turn out, but after reading the reviews, I had to try out the game and was thoroughly impressed at how well the game was done. The story about the bonds these brothers shared was very well done. I watched the youtube anime series (4 episodes) and also saw the movie as well prior to playing this game, so the story makes sense to me, but there's a lot that can be hard to understand unless you dig into the story and read up on theories.

Fun game, different from prior FF games. More action oriented. Great story and open world. I would recommend getting the full “royal edition” instead.

As someone who has played all of the main Final Fantasy Games (except for 14, since it is online), this game still maintains the high quality of the other 13 in their respective times. It is definitely a departure from the other games in that this is a more Action-based RPG and that the mechanics and concepts of magic and items are different but after playing this game for about 10 hours, I can't help being addicted to it. I'' looking forward to the future patches and DLC content as they come out.

I've played several different FF games, and this one has some really unique features. The gameplay is fun and I liked the "road trip" feel to the plot. I cry pretty easily, and this story definitely broke my emotions into tiny little pieces. So be warned.

Waited years for this game, great battle system and tons of features and side quests to keep you busy. Beautiful graphics!

Finall Fantasy XIV has very addicting gameplay, a beautiful open world, amazing soundtrack and visual design, but the story often leaves something to be desired.

Probably one of my favorite Final Fantasy Games. This game is not turn based which is a plus for me! Story line is great! It is a very long game though so be prepared to spend a lot of time on it
