This is my favorite FF since FF7 was released (can't wait for the remake). If you're a fan of the FF series this one is a must, or atleast it was for me anyway. It turned out better than I had expected and was doubting it until I got it for $19.99 on black Friday. It has gone down to that price on the regular now, so give it a shot.

Most fun game I've played on the PS4 since the original Final Fantasy X.

I'm still very early in the game but from what I've played I'm loving it. I've never cared for the turn base gameplay and the one thing I've wanted from ff was the kingdom hearts gameplay. This game comes very close to kingdom hearts gameplay (which are great games) with a final fantasy atmosphere. While I wait for horizon zero dawn to come out I will enjoy this game.

This follows the standard formula for most RPGs...go on a quest with multiple side quests, collect treasure, and kill bad guys. The storyline is pretty good and the rendered environment is beautiful. The battles are fluid and exciting. However, as good as the voice actors are in the cut scenes, the repetative voices and comments during the game make it almost unplayable sometimes - so annoying. However, I added a star back on because...chocobos!! :)

This Final Fantasy is quite a departure from previous games in the series, but I still found it enjoyable as a long time series fan, having played literally all FF games since the original on the NES. The game has become significantly better over time as well with the amount of updates and support Square has been putting into it. Good job Tabata.

Game lasts a long time and great story line. A lot to see visually.

Plays completely different than the turn-based RPGs that a lot of guys are used to (think Kingdom Hearts) but hands down the best thing Square Enix has put out since FFX / DQ7 that wasn't a remake (not counting Tomb Raider, because it's a different genre). Pull the trigger and buy it. I'd recommend a good guide too, as there's a lot you can miss! AAAAA+++++

The game is a big upgrade, they finally seemed to have gotten back on track. I would suggest watching the new movie final Fantasy came out with to get a better grasp on the story as the game starts of kind of in the middle of a plot. Other than that game play is smooth and there's plenty to do. The upgrade trees are cool, reminds me a bit of final Fantasy 10

At first the bro stuff bothered me but after a few hours you don't notice. After beating the game and getting my plat, didn't feel like playing for the other special items.

Looked to purchase the game as a Xmas gift and was super happy to find it half off. Free shipping and quick delivery a major plus.
