Both graphics and story are excellent, beautiful and unique!

Since playing final fantasy VII on the ps2, I had been an avid fan of the FF series. Fast forward to the present and my expectations for this game were met and exceeded. Though I miss the turn based action, the new game play more than makes up for it. If you were a fan or new to the series, do yourself a favor and pick up this game already!

The story to this game is lacking to say the least. The design for telling the story is poor to say the least, however the gameplay carries this game all the way. It is potentially the best gameplay open world Final Fantasy I have ever played. If you can get this game on sale (due to its lack of a good story) I would recommend the purchase.

Tons of game play with a great action packed story.

I really enjoyed the openness of the game, however the driving was tedious at times.

The new battle system is unique to Final Fantasy. It is not the turn based game play you would expect, however, it is an interesting feel for the final fantasy series. Sure, the story seems to incorporate several references to the other series, but the story line falls far below expectations. IF you like action/adventure then this game is for you, but if you are looking for a story filled adventure this isn't it.

My first play through totaled 30 hours. It took me about 18 hours to finish the main story quests so I spent the other 12 hours doing a bunch of the side quests/exploring. Visually the world is stunning The hours spent not doing the main story and just exploring and finding dungeons where great. I enjoyed the music for this game and the battle mechanics where surprisingly satisfying. My main issues with this game is the story itself as well as the side quests. The first half of the story is great, the second half fell on its face...hard. I'm big on story when it comes to FF and this games story is definitely one of its weakest points. While it wasn't bad and it also wasn't very good either. I was kind of disappointed on how quickly it could be finished. To me it was pretty poor storytelling as it did not develop some of the "important" characters well and made them forgettable almost. The side quests are overall okay but they can get kind of boring. They don't really add much in terms of possible side plots to the world. They honestly felt more like "fetch quests" to me however some of them do lead you to interesting parts of the world as well as discover dungeons. There is actually two more things that I did not like and thought it was huge missed opportunity but in fear of spoilers I'll refrain from mentioning in this review. Overall this is a good game. For me this not on the levels of GOTY but that's probably a minority opinion. Despite the two things I mentioned I'd still recommend this game to anyone.

Gameplay and story is amazing. Best Final Fantasy since 7.

Never played the previous games but I know I'll love the game from what I've played so far. Totally worth the purchase!

The wait is finally over! FF15 provides a refreshingly human take on the classic RPG journey that I hope will inspire future games in the franchise. I recommend this game to newcomers to the series and fans of RPG's.

Best FF game yet with a great story and great graphics.

this game is so good. I mean...really good. You can relate to all of the characters and they have a lot of personality! I got in about 50 hours of gameplay before I beat the main story... and that's with ignoring most side quests and misc tasks during my second half of the game. I can't put it down! Final Fantasy has done it again!

Excellent return for the series! Fun combat and story!

I've waited for this game for so long! I accept the criticism - it starts off very slow; gets increasingly linear as the game progresses; the background story isn't very clear unless you've seen the animated movies and clips. But it looks beautiful on my PS Pro and its Final Fantasy. If you are an RPG fan you'll love this game.

Overall good game, interesting story, engaging characters, and fast paced combat.

Latest installation in the Final Fantasy franchise. With a new cast of characters and a new fighting system the game feels fresh. I haven't been this excited to play an FF game since FFX. This really is a new feel to the franchise with a hue open map, where you can interact with monsters. Great buy for the end of the year.

Love the fighting dynamic versus the regular turn based combat. Rich storyline.
