Fun, but set your expectations appropriately
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Know that this doesn't play like any previous Final Fantasy game. It's more of an ARPG than a JRPG. If you only play the main story, the game isn't going to last too long (supposedly, I'm not done yet). Most of the game lies in sidequests that you get lost in. If you're into that thing (which I am), then it's fantastic.

Amazing Game!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is by far the most fun I've had playing a Final Fantasy title since probably 8 or 9. FFX was good and all, but since I never beat it I can't include it. Has a different fighting style than any previous one, but it is a lot of fun and the story so far is intriguing! Recommend to anyone that likes RPGs or JRPGs!

An Excellent Open World FF Adventure
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I must admit, I was skeptical when I was hearing this FF was going open world but I feel Square Enix did a great job of making it a fun game world. Still doesn't compare to some of my all time favorites like FF7/8 but still a great cast and world. Felt the end game was a bit rushed but overall enjoyed this game.

Truly Great Game!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you're into Final Fantasy (FF) games then this one is an absolute must buy! If you've never played a FF game, this is the perfect game to get you introduced to the series. It takes a bit of an unconventional approach to combat which deviates heavily from the previous FF entries but it manages to do so well.

Best Final Fantasy since VII
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Honestly the best Final Fantasy game in a long time. The open world is amazing. The brotherhood built between the characters is incredible. The story needed more time to build in certain areas but overall I loved every minute of this game. I spent hours just doing side quests because I could. Highly recommend!

Awesome game!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have waited for this to be released when it was first announced as Final Fantasy 13 (I don't remember how long ago that was). I have to say this new Final Fantasy 15 game-play completely different from all the previous Final Fantasy. Is not like the old traditional RPG where the characters have to take turn to attack and using the command to tell them what to do. This is consider somewhat an action game where you have to press buttons to slash, dodge and running around during battle. I still enjoy the game because even though it was not like the old style. I have always a Final Fantasy fan and the new game-play styles kinda threw me off a little bit in the beginning and after a few hours into the game I started to catch on. The story line is interesting and you have to watch the movie Kingsglaive to give you better understanding of the story. A lot of side quest, and challenging monster as you explore the world. The only thing I hate about this game is the demon at night and the Imperial Magitech that constantly summon. It's kinda annoying when you try to do quest and you can't because the demon will summon everywhere you go at night and the Magitech (Imperial Soldiers) make completing quests harder. The map is huge and it takes a long time to travel from places to places and the demon summon in night time does not help getting around easy and fast.

Extremely Fun Game and Hours of Gameplay
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game is everything that the reviews online ratings give it. It's well developed and hours of gameplay. I purchased it for $35. IF you can too, that's an excellent investment for the hours of fun that you can spend towards going back to your childhood youth. Fishing in this game is extremely addicting!!

Not Bad, but Not Great
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.FFXV is not a bad game by any sense, but it doesn't live up to the lofty Final Fantasy expectations. FFVI or FFVII this is definitely not. That being said, it introduces some neat, modern twists into the series, like traveling by car and being set in a fairly modern era (FFVIII was more futuristic than modern, IMO). Worth a play through, but probably not replay worthy.

Great game for JRPG fans!
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you're into Japanese Role Playing Games (or just RPGs in general), Final Fantasy 15 is right up there! Hours of fun and great scenery. Square games are pretty much always a visual feast, but being that this one is an open world you can spend lots of time just looking at how amazing everything is aesthetically up close!

Great game
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The game has so much to do! This open world has so many different quests, it makes you feel you are on an open journey with 3 friends. I will say that the main story itself is short, which is different from most other FF games, but the world you can just do so many things in is what makes this game great!

No FF7 but decent
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Of course I compare this to FF7 because that was the best FF in history and nothing comes close to it but this one actually isn't quite bad.

great graphics, gameplay not all there
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.it's a new Final Fantasy, you either love it or hate it. The game looks incredible, it shows that they've worked on this game for las long as they did. The gameplay is more action oriented, which can be a times confusing, but once you get the hang of it, can be satisfying. There's a bit of grind to the game, but which FF isn't without a good level of grinding.

Fantastic
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall. The game is great. It lacks a bit in the story but that is being improved on luckily over time with updates. Graphically, it's absolutely gorgeous on the ps4 pro. I would recommend waiting to get this for the time being as it's still being worked on but if it's on sale, get it. There's plenty to do and if you're a screenshot junkie, this is the game for you.
