Completely worth every penny. The music, the story and most of all the captivating graphics make this an awesome addition to our game collection. The steel book it came with is very well done. The map is made of cloth not paper which was another huge bonus. As far as the gameplay itself, it's hard to describe. The menus are quite captivating and the graphics move.ao fluidly you almost forgot you aren't watching a movie. If you love the series already, this addition won't disappoint. Whether or not you've ever played a Final Fantasy title, this game is unrelated to others in the series as far as its narrative. The voice acting is superb, every character is voice acted and many will make references to your actions. The setting and scope of the world are massive, built around lore that is slowly given as you learn about it through playing as Clive the protagonist. As protagonists are concerned, Clive isn't the atypical fantasy hero out to save the world. (No spoilers) He's out to make up for a wrongdoing, but the world is filled with strife just like our protagonist. Side characters are equally fleshed out, each one having their own purpose. There are optional side quests, some of which are humorous (mostly are rather dark). The combat is more akin to Devil May Cry, as it's action based rather than then based. You don't control any party members aside from Clive, but they each pull their own weight. Boss battles are massive and steal the show. Every boss encounter is packed to the brim with nail biting sequences. Though the change in an action based combat system and a darker storyline have generated more negative reviews, this is a game that shouldn't be missed. If you're looking for a more mature, subdued Final Fantasy, look no further. The series has finally pushed aside the glamor of light fantasy and embraced a story that is packed with emotion.

Final Fantasy 16 on the PlayStation 5! Never would have thought 16 would happen in 1992 playing the FF release on the Nintendo. The graphics look great on the PS5. I played it for a fair amount of time and I personally like the graphics, the speed, the soundtrack, the characters, the story. There will always be people saying something isn’t this or that but this game is good. If you like FF then buy it. If you have never played a FF game you might as well start right here.

This game genuinely moves the series in a new direction. For some this may not be the direction they want the series to move in. But for me it felt just fine. There is some room for improvement in the combat. But for a second outing into the more action oriented JRPG format this game did a lot to improve on what fans took issue with in XV. As far as story, art direction, and soundtrack go: this game is what many JRPG’s wish they could be. It is a beautiful world with superb acting. And a story that takes advantage of that acting. And Soken absolutely NAILS the feeling of every moment with the soundtrack.

Love everything about this game. The story, the music score, the visuals, and the gameplay are all top-notch. Yeah it’s a more action-focused Final Fantasy, but it lends itself well to the story beats and overall Final Fantasy themes and iconography. Give it a chance and you’ll have one of the best gaming experiences of the year. For the deluxe edition, I really dig the quality of the map that’s included with the steel book.

Final Fantasy XVl is unlike any of its predecessors. With a more edgy dialogue throughout the main story you'll soon notice that this is a more mature entry into the Final Fantasy series. Not only that, but the gameplay has been made along the lines of some of the most well-known action games. Although, do not let that deter you if you were a fan of the classic turn-base system. Combat is easy to learn and pick up. The story is definitely fulfilling throughout the entire length of the main game. Throughout all the twists and turns the game story will bring, you will find yourself with a sense of fulfillment multiple times before you reach the end. Pros: -Fast, Exciting, Gameplay -Intriguing story -Plenty of hour of entertainment -Lots of options to customize combat. -Accessibility Cons: -Some parts of side quests can drag and feel redundant at times.

This game was an absolute masterpiece! The story, pacing, setting and visuals are all perfectly balanced to create what felt like a 3 season binge of a great series. The mechanics are simple and satisfying, while never feeling tedious or boring. I highly recommend that any fan of fantasy settings purchase and play this game!

Games are going up to 70$, it's just how life is going so people need to get over it. The cloth map is a great little addition and i love the steel book it was packaged with. People crying about the other steal book is pretty lame, it's not even that great...the game is excelent so far, def different from the norm but the action is stellar.

Amazing game, combat is downright awesome and great to play. Story is straightforward but still really good. Characters are highlights and boss battles are crazy good feeling like a movie with giving you lots of control. Amazing worldbuilding and art direction, really good direction and Final Fantasy should keep going this direction.

This game is totally amazing. The combat is wonderful to playthrough as a fan of action games like DMC, the best story in a game that I’ve played in 2023, and the best soundtrack I’ve heard in a LONG while. This is an easy recommend and is definiatly a game to look at for GOTY this year

Been playing Final Fantasy since FFIX and love this one, FFXVI is a big change in that its an action rpg more like Devil May Cry then other FF games, but I found the gameplay to be very fun. Story is great, there is some fps drops when your in a big area with lots of npcs but from what I could tell its 60 fps when in combat.

Amazing product, game is a masterpiece and the items in the edition are incredible, recommend if u like the franchise but don’t want to spend an entire check on merchandise

Amazing gameplay and story, with an epic soundtrack! This deluxe edition you also get a beautiful steel book and a cloth map of the world map, which is great quality. The game is easy enough for anyone to play, and you do not need to play the other 15 iterations of the Final Fantasy franchise games to enjoy this one!

The deluxe edition was a fantastic purchase, especially for the new TV setup that I had put together. While the game moved towards a more action-oriented RPG, it still keeps that same sense of charm and wonder that the series is known for.

Have been playing Final Fantasy games for over 30 years and FF16 is one the best entries in the series. The story is engaging and perfectly paced while the combat system is extremely fun and addicting. Unbelievable production values and lots of care went into making this game. It lives up to the hype!

One of the few things to come perfectly intact. I buy games I like to collect personally, games that are important to me, not to sell, so condition matters quite a bit to me as this is one of my only hobbies and I enjoy it. It helps me feel comfy when I am not. Lately ive been struggling finding places that sell games perfectly in mint condition just for myself, and to possibly pass some on to children. Ive always had good experiences with bestbuy in this regard and try to give them as much service as I can, even though my town location has closed. Every game I gave bought from them has come damaged lately and I dont know why. Except this one. Thank God, its been making me sad how many returns iceve been having to make. Amazing game too :)

If I could give Final Fantasy XVI more stars, I would. Easily one of the best FFs. The story is Square Enix's take on Game of Thrones with FF sprinkled on top and it's just too good. Gameplay and especially the Eikon battles are on epic proportions, I'll remember this FF for a long long time!

Having played every FF game to date, i can say the story is fantastic! The action gameplay keeps me engaged and the hunts actually force me to chnage eikons and try different playstyles. Each character is fun to learn about so im kinda sad that your party constantly changes though.
