Great Game!
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Final Fantasy XVI is a triumphant addition to the legendary series, blending a gripping narrative with exhilarating gameplay. The game's world is richly detailed, offering a perfect blend of fantasy and realism that captivates from the start. Combat is both challenging and rewarding, with a system that's easy to grasp but hard to master, providing depth for seasoned gamers. The characters are wonderfully crafted, each with a compelling backstory that adds emotional depth to the journey. The graphics are stunning, making every scene a visual feast. The soundtrack, as always, is exceptional, enhancing the epic atmosphere. Square Enix has outdone themselves, delivering an unforgettable experience that both longtime fans and newcomers will cherish.

A Game of Fantasy !
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game has changed my opinion of the Final Fantasy series. It has so much inspiration from Game of Thrones and I’m here for it!!! A much darker game, no turn base system and the way they incorporate the lore of past games is amazing. GOAT game

Final Fantasy with a hollow feeling
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As someone who has played this franchise for over 30 years. I can honestly say that there are high points and there are low points, the quality is consistent. Make no mistake, however, the biggest issue is the singular fact that you can only play a singular character. This feels less like a group of individuals going on a long almost Gothic like journey and more like a group of people supporting one individual instead of working together as a team. Most bosses, you can't even fight with a group. The setting in the world is highly detailed, but the color palette is very flat or what many would consider washed out, that doesn't mean the game in any way looks terrible. In fact, it's quite the opposite, but the setting is bleak, which fits the esthetic. But you just do not feel like you're playing a game. That's meant to be single player with only one controllable character. This may be an R, p, g, but it feels more like a long format version of games like devil may cry.

A Different but Epic Final Fantasy
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is different than your traditional style Final Fantasy but it is still very much a FF game regardless. The story is pretty interesting to me and the combat is pretty awesome. So far I'm having a blast and the boss battles are friggin epic!

Great Modern Final Fantasy Game
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. One of my favorite modern Final Fantasy games. I truly enjoyed the story and it was not convoluted like FFXV, or FFXIII. Easy to follow, great graphics, and I enjoyed actually controlling the summons in certain parts of the game.

||Posted . Definitely a worthy entry in the Final Fantasy series and definitely worth more than just a single playthrough. I've been having a blast with playing this title.

Great combat
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great addition to the Final Fantasy franchise. I wasn't sure about the full action combat at first but it is very fun and fits well. Music is amazing as always. I would recommend to both veterans and beginners to the series alike.

Favorite Final Fantasy game. Highly recommend
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Absolutely amazing game. Rich storyline, great gameplay, and a photo mode because Clive is just too pretty to not have one. And Torgal, Torgal himself makes the game worth it. Make sure to do the side quests, especially later in the game.

Fantastic Action RPG
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Far different from conventional Final Fantasy games with very light RPG elements and extremely linear gameplay. That doest make it bad just different. Fast paced frenetic combat coupled with over the top Eikon battles and a fantastic story make this departure from previous titles a must play. Highly recommend.

A Lot!
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you're looking for something to grind at, this game will take hours and hours to beat. A little dull gameplay but the variety of attack combinations keep the game interesting. A lot of gameplay and a lot of story.

Best Final Fantasy in a while
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Probably the most fun I've had with a Final Fantasy game in a while. The story has been really engaging and focused, the combat is tight but not terribly difficult on the action mode. The load times are so quick it's almost non existent.

Great game, false advertising with steelbook
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The game is amazing, I would highly recommend it 5 stars. My only issue was with best buy false advertising a steel book with the pre-order. The game also didn't show up on release day like they typically do for pre-orders. For that I detucted 1 star.

Great game
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Final Fantasy XVI was a bold and innovative entry into the Final Fantasy series. The characters and story are engaging, and the world beautiful. The side quest content can be a bit of a slog, so I docked a star for that. Otherwise, great game.

Game of the Year potential.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’m loving it with about 5 hours in. I didn’t love the fact I didn’t get a steel book, but that’s my fault for pre-ordering so late. My only complaint is that I wish they allowed more open world exploration. The map feels so restricted and it doesn’t allow you to stray off the narrow and strict path that is provided.

Game of the year contender
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. An excellent mashup of Devil May Cry combat, game of thrones politics, final fantasy lore/style, and attack on Titan epic clashes. The game keeps getting better the further in I get.
