Customers praise the enjoyable gameplay, compelling story, and stellar voice acting in Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia. Many appreciate the game's unique dungeon crawling elements and consider it a great remake of a classic title. While some found the map design less engaging than in other entries, the absence of the weapon triangle system was also noted. Overall, the game is lauded for its challenging yet accessible difficulty and beautiful art style.

The challenge in this game is definitely different compared to the other series. It brings me back to the days when I would restart the game over and over to make sure I didn't make any mistakes during Fire Emblem 7: The Blazing Blade(the one with Lynn, Eliwood, and Hector).

I enjoyed this game quite a bit, but I feel this wasn't the best. It's a remake of an older game in the series. I do feel there would have been better options to remake than this. However, the game itself is still solid. If you're a fan of the series or this genre then I'd recommend it. However, if you're looking to play a game in this series for the first time, I'd look at previous games.

Since Fire a Emblem Gaiden never came out in a English, many people, including myself, have never had the chance to play it. IS and Nintendo have masterfully remade this game with new mechanics, challenging strategy, and incredible characters. Truly an amazing game!

This is my first purchase of any Fire Emblem game.
I enjoyed the game since it was reminiscent of Final Fantasy Tactics and required strategy during gameplay. However, it is not too punishing in its difficulty and is good for younger players too.

It's a decent game, product worked perfectly and there were no problems. My issue with this FE game is that there aren't a lot of grinding opportunities for leveling.

This is probably my favorite Fire Emblem next to Awakening. It's fully voiced, and the voice acting is great. This is a remake of Gaiden and retains some gameplay elements from Gaiden. Some people may think it's dated, but I didn't mind.

It's definitely different than FE Fates. The interface is alot more interesting, I think, and the dungeon exploration is actually pretty fun. Overall, this is actually a really good Fire Emblem game especially if you want something refreshing in the series.

Although the gameplay and overall map design are a step back from Conquest the writing is leaps and bounds better than both Awakening and Fates. Despite all gameplay related flaws the stellar presentation and voice acting make it a must play

I haven't played many FE games, just the newer ones on the 3DS, this ones seems to cater more to fans of the older entries, probably because it's a remake. Gameplay is still fin but not as dynamic as Fates, Awakening, no pairing of units on the battlefield, each unit can only hold one item, but they did add more field effects such as higher defense in trees and almost no mobility on mountains.

This is a very good refresher for anyone who's been played the earlier two 3DS Fire Emblems. It's an enhanced take on the classic 2nd Fire Emblem game, so it's perfect for those who love or hate the 3DS Fire Emblem games.
