My favorite Fire Emblem to date. Because the avatar character is a professor at the academy, you get to know all of your students as if they are real people. You learn their likes, dislikes, and all of their little quirks. Makes the game feel real as opposed to other entries in the series. Great for beginners and a must have for veterans.

Spent 60 hours with the games so far and still in my first play through, would recommend to all RPG fans. Strong cast of characters which you can customize into different roles for your party such mounted units that focus on mobility, heavy knights to act as your shield along with mages and healers. Best RPG on the swith.

I was nervous to play this since it was my first FE game. Those feelings went away quickly. The story, the characters, the gameplay it’s super addicting. I’m the kind of person that has to talk to everyone, who has to explore every inch of the monastery, and build relationship with everyone. I haven’t beaten it yet but I’m already hooked.

Amazing game! Currently playing it as I type this. Have about 50 hours in so far. It’s def a long game so keep that in mind. There’s so much to do in this game that I can’t begin to type it all now. Just take the chance and get this game!

Fun game, works well, good graphics, lots of action

Perfect turnbase strategy game. This is the first Fire Emblem game I have played and so far about 10hours into the game and I’m enjoying the combat and storyline. The three different houses to choose from seems like it tells a different story point of view for each so the replay value is very high.

This is the best new FE game to come out in a while. There's tons of gameplay to be had here with 3 different routes to take, and polished tactical combat. This is an amazing value for such a long game. Only complaint is that the visuals are a bit lacking, but the gameplay is more than good enough to make up for it.

I cant say I'm an avid fire emblem player, but picking this up and spending 75 hours on my first playthrough, it was definitely well worth it. Good rpg mechanica to keep you entertained and that sweet sweet fire emblem strategy gameplay and mechanics for gameplay. New game+ is a thing and lets u see the other side of things u missed

Basically Nintendo has done it again! This is well worth $60 for hours upon hours of an amazing storyline and gameplay. I love the three different factions that you can choose from and all are unique in their own way. If you have never tried this series and are a JRPG fan and/or a fan of the Persona series than I HIGHLY recommend it.

If final fantasy and Harry Potter had a child it would be this game. I normally hate jrpgs because of their cringy and corny storylines. However, to my surprise three houses has kept my attention thus far. The game seems a little easy even on hard. The difficulty could be increased to put on emphasis on unit placement and strategy.

I haven't played a Fire Emblem game since the first one for GBA, but I love this genre. This particular version is a lot like the old one with tons of extra features. Definitely recommend it if you like Fire Emblem. The only downside is that it's a really complicated and time consuming to play well. Definitely not a "lite" game.

I've been a follower of this series for the past 4 games and can honestly say this is the most well done entry in the franchise! The game can be set to be as easy or difficult as you want and there are a total of 4 completely different story routes to experience! If strategy and story are what you're looking for, look no further.

Taking some amazing chances on mixing up the Fire Emblem formula pays off big time. The hogwarts meets game of thrones via persona equation is very accurate. This game has characters, story, tactics in a portable package that is almost too good. Say good by to free time and guide your students into an uncertain future of fun. A+

Great game. In short you pick one of three houses- red, yellow or blue. Doing so gives you kids to teach and they become your party. You can steal other houses people later though. You develop these kids however you see fit I.e. training in sword, axe, cavalry, archery etc. Combat is the same as all fire emblems (turn based).

Gameplay, story, music and characters are all superb.

While having limited exposure to the Fire Emblem series, this game definitely can stand on its own with story/plot line, and character interaction. If you enjoy a great tactical, strategy, role playing, adventure, interactive fiction game with some online components, than this is the game for you...awesome...

Wow this game is amazing. I honestly have to put this in my list of top 5 masterpiece games of all time. Anyone with a Nintendo Switch needs to play it. I got so immersed into the setting of the game, it was hard for me to focus on real life tasks

Awesome strategy game. I played through it twice to see how each house's experience was. I didn't get to play through one house, but I hope to do that in the near future. Definitely give this game a try if you like strategy games with a great story.

Good game play with great story and replay value!

Another great installment to the series that will keep me busy for a while. Lots of hours to offer, with high replay value thanks to all the different ways to play and choices to consider. A wide cast of characters, I think the writers do a good enough job of making you care about them. However, they feel pretty emotionless in their 3D models, player character (Byleth) especially, which I feel is pretty stupid for a well-funded 2019 game. In addition, there are a lot of slowdowns in frame rate when exploring the monastery among other activities, so I have to take a star off for the performance issues I feel should have been hammered out before release.
