Another great installment to the series that will keep me busy for a while. Lots of hours to offer, with high replay value thanks to all the different ways to play and choices to consider. A wide cast of characters, I think the writers do a good enough job of making you care about them. However, they feel pretty emotionless in their 3D models, player character (Byleth) especially, which I feel is pretty stupid for a well-funded 2019 game. In addition, there are a lot of slowdowns in frame rate when exploring the monastery among other activities, so I have to take a star off for the performance issues I feel should have been hammered out before release.

If you want a game worth your time and money, get this. Good RTS with a large amount of Persona-like social linking with your comrades. There are multiple story endings based on your choices, as well with different characters. And if you get DLC you just get more and more content. Base game itself is worth it.

I was so surprised to see such a great story line. This game gives you three main story options with some additional opportunities to change the storyline mid game. Battle system is fantastic for both experienced and beginners equally. I recommend this to anyone who loves a great story and strategy battle game!!!

Amazingly detailed story that has many choices allowing for many stories and endings. There is a huge amount of characters that you are able to built connections and your team. I am 40 hours in and I dont think I am halfway through my fist playthrough yet and I am already itching for my next playthrough.

Bought this for my spouse a few weeks back, and they haven't put it down since. Almost done with the first playthrough, and will almost certainly start a second immediately after. Great purchase, but I'm wondering how long until I can use the Switch again.

My father gave me this game as a gift. I heard from my friends that it was really good but I was on the edge about it being a basic game, but was I taken for a spin when I realized how amazing it is; from the characters all being loveable to the storyline being absolutely stunning, this game forever has my heart.

Very fun game. Different from the previous Fire Emblem game. Battles are turned base, but there is a lot of RPG elements. Lots of talking to NPC, leveling up, interacting with other characters. May not be for everyone if wanting fast paced game. Only 10-15 hours of game play so far but no regrets getting game.

Amazing game that can easily provide 100+ hours of gameplay. There is substantial replay value beyond that as each house within the game helps fill in the plot from their perspective. This was my first foray into the Fire Emblem universe and this is possibly my best Nintendo Switch purchase to date.

I was uncertain about this game when I first bought it but after playing, my doubts were quickly put to rest. Great music, battle mechanics/animations, characters and lots of replay ability. Would have been game of the year in my opinion if it didn’t come out with other power houses that year.

Absolutely amazing. I've always been a fan of turn based games and FE is the pinnacle of perfection. Great difficulty, gameplay is addictive, and captivating characters that you grow attached to. Definitely worth it if you're a FE fan or a fan of strategy games.

It's a slightly revamped take on classic Fire Emblem, but maintains everything that makes the previous entries so beloved by its hardcore faithful. Gorgeous animations, a strong story and genuinely likeable characters only add to the rock solid gameplay mechanics to create one of the Switch's best titles.

Man, this game is ruining my life. I've been going to bed so late because I keep thinking "one more battle, but then I have to train my students, find all the items, etc etc etc" Next thing I know it's light outside. So, this game is horrible if you value sleep, great if you want to play an awesome game.

If you liked Fire Emblem Awakening, but perhaps felt let-down and disappointed by Fire Emblem Fates, then rest easy, because Three Houses takes everything good about Awakening and keeps it going while adding a multitude of new features that make you feel at home in the game and attached to your characters.

At first I wasn’t sure about this game But it got good reviews so I decided to try it. It turned out to be a great game. The play style is intuitive and fun to strategize to win battles. There is a lot of depth in the character development as you progress through the game as well. Definitely recommended

I couldn’t put the game down once I started from the different story paths to the socializing as well as the strategy it takes to win a battle make this game fun and sets it apart from the others in the series. The progression system is unique and easy to learn for new comers. I highly recommend this game.

I don’t have much unique to say about the game. The school stuff adds an enjoyable Persona-esque feeling, and the characters are generally good. Good jumping in point for newcomers, though some longtime fans may still be disappointed with the tropey, anime style the series has taken on since Awakening.

My first entry into the series since Shadow Dragon and I'm not disappointed. The gameplay is a slow start and there's a lot of subtle character interaction choices, but the heart of the game is exactly what I was looking for. It's a strategy RPG with tons of customization and a variety of ways to enjoy.

I have played all Fire Emblem games and this maintained or surpassed the previous ones because it has same great story line, good characters and above all amazing graphics. I recommend this game to all Fire Emblem followers or even if not familiar with the games, it is extremely entertaining.

This is my very first game of the series I played since it’s been out in the 80s. I didn’t know what to expect but I do remember playing this Style of game before On the Nintendo system It really is a good game and I’m sure I’ll get the hang of it sooner than later.

If you are a fan of the Fire Emblem series or turn based gameplay get this game now! I have about 30 hours played so far and I feel like I have just scratched the surface. The choices you make have a major impact on the outcome of the game so choose carefully and try not to let anyone die in battle.
