Great collector's edition. Love the steelbook and it is a great Fire Emblem game. Love seeing that the West is getting Fire Emblems these days as Japan has had them forever.

This game is a wonderful, wonderful addition not only to the Nintendo Switch but to the Fire Emblem series altogether. For those that are unfamiliar with the any Fire Emblem games, Three Houses combines the best parts of Persona, Final Fantasy Tactics, with a bit of Harry Potter and A Song of Ice and Fire (Game of Thrones). I cannot praise this game enough except to say that it's currently my top contender for Game of the Year, and I play just about everything.
If you like strategy based combat (grid) and an excellent narrative, you cannot go wrong with Fire Emblem Three Houses. Blue Lions forever!

While there are tons of review of the game, this is about the warfare edition. The steelbook is beautiful so is the artbook, the calendar and CD is alright.

I've totally gotten my money's worth from this game during the Coronavirus shut down. I had already completed two full playthroughs (about 70 hours for each playthrough), and I got the game out again when we first got the shelter in place orders. I played through TWO MORE TIMES, and each time I've had a different route to choose for my story. So, yeah, I've gotten a lot of use from this game, and I've loved every minute of it.
Well worth the price.
Oh, one more thing: consider buying a Fire Emblem amiibo. It will enhance your game. :)

This is fire emblem at its best. 3 separate stories, massive sidequests and gameplay. The Special Edition isn't a necessity but it is beautiful

Fire Emblem: Three Houses is the first game in the series to come back to a home console for the first time in a while; and what a return it is. Much like Fire Emblem Awakening was the 3DS’s system seller, Three houses will be the Switch’s system seller. The game has you choose one of Three houses and they all take around 30 hours to beat on your first play through. After that, there’s a new game + which means that it will carry over most of your progress on your next play through. Each house is different and amazing.

Although I'm not a big fan of all the time spent in the monastery, it is still refreshing and new. The world-building is amazing and well thought out. It's really hard to find any fault in this game. Personally, I found the difficulty easier than previous Fire Emblem games and I would have loved a fully orchestrated soundtrack instead of synthesized but still beautiful. If you were able to pick up the Seasons of Warfare Edition it was well worth the money compared to other special editions.

The core strategy of the game has been tuned and there are many more classes and ways to approach a battle. The story starts slow but it driven by the large number of well written characters. If you only care about the core gameplay (battles) then you may be a bit annoyed by the massive amount of conversations and side gambits that take place, but if you enjoy the RPG side of the Fire Emblem games then this is a must for your Nintendo Switch.

The LE came a bit later but it was released on a Friday so that is to be expected. The LE itself is beautifully packaged and has a fair share of goodies but likely not enough to have warranted its price tag.
As for the game itself. I've played all 3 routes and have found it has immense replay value and given its pool of characters and classes, no playthrough of the game is ever truly the same. Unless you go out of your way to do so.

Keeping it brief, this game is the pinnacle of what every SRPG should aspire to be.
You can customize your units to your hearts content, high quality voice acting, dual audio, engaging story and character development, and not to mention the head banging soundtrack.
If you've ever played any of the past Fire Emblem titles, or are new to the series, this game is perfect for everyone who's a fan of srpg's or new to the genre.

I find this very worthwhile since I prefer the look of the steel box to the regular cover art. The game itself is very fun and the mechanics are very fun especially the time travel mechanic which allows you to fix some of your mistakes for controlling the troops. I myself started with the Blue Lion House and I am already looking forward to another playthrough once I am done with a different house.
