If you're a fan of the Warriors series like Dynasty Warriors and also like FE then this game is a fun few hours for you. It's cool seeing some of the characters from across the FE series all in one game interacting with one another. As with all DW style games it gets repetitive but they do a good job in keeping it pretty fun

This game doesn't do anything new to define the genre but it is a pleasant improvement over Hyrule Warriors with some new quality of life features that makes it an over all more enjoyable play. If the mindless power fantasy gameplay never intrigued you Fire Emblem Warriors certainly won't win you over, but if you're a fan of the gameplay you'll find joy in this one.

Got this for my bf and he put it on the shelf as display with his other games, and has yet to play it. But he's very excited about having it and anticipating to play it one day. He just has many other games to play first before getting to this one. Looks good though and is useful as a nice display.

This Special Edition is pretty awesome. It had a sound selection, character cards, and the game. I highly recommend this version. The game is a fun, musou style game. Hack and slash with combos and a bunch of characters. If you enjoy fire emblem, you will surely enjoy this game.

I must say that I am impressed with this special edition. This is my third Fire Emblem special edition. I bought the one for Fates, the last one and this one. I love it. The game is awesome, my package came in excellent conditions and the extras are great. I highly recommend it.

I know the Warriors games are not for everyone, but I really enjoy them. Having the characters I love from Fire Emblem only makes me enjoy it even more. Being able to play missions co-op with my wife or kids is a great treat. I am very glad to have purchased this game.

I am a huge Fire Emblem fan. Having these characters incorporated into a Dynasty Warriors game is a lot of fun for me. Keep in mind this is not a typical Fire Emblem game, but if you like the fast pace and style of Dynasty Warriors games you will definitely like this.

Personally never played a game like this but wanted to try a bit different game outside of BotW so I picked this one up. Not disappointed at all! Story may seem a bit light but the gameplay is actually pretty addictive. Will keep an eye out for other games like this.

Best Warriors game I have played

The short version is, this was one of the first titles I picked up on the Switch and it has unexpectedly become my favorite so far. The bonuses in the Special Edition are neat, but if you do not want the soundtrack, just buy the regular edition and you can get the DLC with the difference in price if you want it. I used to play these Warriors games on the PS2 and I figured it might be decent with a Fire Emblem theme, but it actually goes beyond that a little. Instead of just being a basic hack-and-slash kind of game, you can give commands to most of your units and they are actually pretty effective, instead of making you do all the work like in most action games with "strategy/RPG elements." No doubt the actual gameplay will be more familiar to Warriors series fans, but it does incorporate a lot of the elements of Fire Emblem games, as well. You get a lot of familiar characters, character stats behave about how you would expect, and the weapon effectiveness stuff is all there. All of these things do have real impacts on how the battle proceeds. You can choose the characters you can control in most of the story mode battles and switch between them as needed, and even the ones you have set to be available for control will competently follow your orders when you are not playing as them. You have to be a little careful because characters without orders can end up in situations you do not want them in, but they can usually take care of themselves if you are not keen on interrupting the action to give them new instructions all the time. As far as the bonus things go in the Special Edition, it is a good set of stuff to add on but you are free to debate if the money would be better spent on a DLC season pass (which is not included, oddly). There are cards with full illustrations of the main characters, which is cool but might not be terribly interesting to people who are not big fans of Fire Emblem. The soundtrack was the real bonus for me; it comes on three CDs and is pretty good, containing arrangements of quite a bit of music from the other Fire Emblem games as well as the game's original soundtrack. Overall, this was a game I partially picked up because I thought it would round out my selection of games to play on my new Switch, and it had good enough reviews, but it turned out to be one of my favorites. Would recommend to anyone who likes fantasy-themed action games, especially if they like Fire Emblem or any of the Warriors series. (I have not played Hyrule Warriors yet, but I assume if you like that, you will probably also like this one.)

Still had the tactics of a fire emblem just mixed with a warriors game which is pretty fun...I feel like sometimes the characters just stand there unless you give them an order to attack and even then they still just stand there. Still fun though

This is an amazing game for the Nintendo Switch! I loved what they were able to do with Hyrule Warriors on the Wii U and they managed to greatly improve on this take with the Fire Emblem universe. Definitely recommend giving it a shot.

The formula is pretty established at this point. This title does add it's own flair to the Musou genre but at the end of the day it's going to feel like the other Warriors games. I love those types of games so this was for me for sure.

This game is so fun. It was great seeing some of my favorite characters from the Fire Emblem franchise once again on the Switch. Had so much fun hacking and slashing enemies. This edition comes with a soundtrack and amazing character cards that will fit in any fans collection.

In terms of the Special Edition's perks, they're really nicely done. The character cards are beautiful and quite solid, and the poster has a very nice second side that lists the Japanese versions of the games. My daughter-in-law in Japanese and helps in translations. The soundtrack CDs are easily tye best part, though. Most special editions will throw you a 'sound selection CD' that includes only a handful of the tracks in the game. While this set isn't 100% complete (it's missing the quieter variants of the battle themes), it's one of the best soundtrack inclusions I've seen so far.

I really was impressed with this collector's edition, the 3 disc soundtrack is great and has really nice packaging. The cards that come with it are big! I was expecting trading card size but they are bigger than a Switch case.

My biggest gripe with Fire Emblem Warriors is the fact that the character roster is very tilted towards the newer releases. It's fun to play and they do a good job of adding Fire Emblem elements into it but I wish there were more characters from the past.

Fire Emblem Warriors is easy to get into and play for quick sessions. The characters look great and the cutscenes are well animated. There are a large number of characters so it keeps the battles interesting.
