Fire Emblem Warriors
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game looks great on handheld mode. I don't play with the Switch docked, so I can't say how it looks on a tv. The voice acting isn't too bad, but sometimes it can get really repetitive. All in all, this is a pretty good Warriors game.

Good game, but some flaws
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this game because I'm a HUGE Fire Emblem fan, and I am overall very happy with it. I have two main problems with it though - one, the graphics. It unfortunately does not have very good graphics, which is especially seen on the in-game character models, especially on the characters' clothing. Secondly, the fact that the game freezes up and crashes sometimes under a specific circumstance of using a special attack that I won't go into too much detail about, but it can be annoying, especially when you're far into a level. That can be fixed with a patch though. The story of the story mode is enjoyable, and the gameplay is satisfying, although many characters have very similar movesets, which was a bit disappointing. Still, I'd definitely recommend this game to any Fire Emblem or Dynasty Warriors fan.

Great game
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've always liked the Warriors series. This one is great too. The story is ok, but the characters and gameplay really make the game great. Lots of action. 2 players split screen is a bit cramped but I usually at alone anyway.

Good game in the Dynasty Warriors Series
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Game is really fun, taking both from Fire Emblem and Dynasty Warriors. It has the action and combat of Dyansty Warriors mixed with characters and systems from Fire Emblem. For example, weapons matter, like in Fire Emblem, relationships can be built up with characters on your team and characters are from the recent entries in the series. It even has what has become called classic mode, where if a character dies, you lose them for good. The game still is Dynasty Warriors though. It can be fun to play for awhile, but if you play it non-stop can get kind of boring. The environments are still pretty uninteractive with a lot of things still looking the same as others in the series. Good in short bursts, playing maybe one battle before going to play something else.

Fan Service at its best
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Fire Emblem Warriors is a great, beautiful fun game especially for those who are already fans of the Fire Emblem franchise, and muse or warrior style games. Here we get to play with our favorite protagonists from the past few fire emblem entries and kick butt all around the new kingdom in a warriors style gameplay. (Where there are several enemies on screen at the same time and we literally destroy hundreds, and thousands of them while progressing through the level). This was such a hit for me and I have over 40 hours in the game now. I will still be coming back for more from time to time and to collect more of the collectible cards we open during the game. Lots of reasons to keep playing and leveling up our favorite characters.

Fan Service done right!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Fire Emblem Warriors is a great musou style game made especially for fire emblem fans. We get introduced to two new protagonists for the main story campaign, but we get to play with all of our favorite fire emblem characters from previous games brought together to save the world once more. This is a feel good game for fans of the franchise and it looks beautiful. Animations are slectacular and the so is the voice acting. I have already finished the main campaign and I’m not going through the History mode part of the game which is even longer than the main campaign. There is a lot of value for ones purchase here! So happy I got to play this game this year.

Great hack and Slash game.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love fire emblem and, while this game isn't your normal FE game, its a blast. Starts off slow and easy but things ramp as you progress. Lots of things to do and great multiplayer.

Surprisingly deeper game then expected
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Didn't expect much more then Dynasty Warrior with a Fire Emblem skin but it's a bit deeper then that with its characters and upgrades. Great for Fire Emblem or Dynasty Warrior fans

Good game with an unbalanced roster
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The core gameplay is solid, and I like that you can switch between characters and order your other units around, which you could not do in the Wii U version of Hyrule Warriors. It makes managing objectives more interesting. Only complaints are with the roster. The characters mostly come from the original, Awakening, and Fates-- no Roy, Ike, or Hector. If you want to use a spear user you have 3 "choices" but they are clones. The movesets are all fun but too many are swords. I would have liked to see armor units and shurikens too. If you're a fan of the recent Fire Emblem games and want an action game, it is a good choice.

Great if you love FE and Warriors games
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. While it is a slight shame that a handful of the characters are clones of each other, the game is still very fun and enjoyable to play. The last Warriors game I played was Dynasty Warriors 8, so it was pretty different playing with a mounted or flying character. You can command other characters on your team to help with your missions and 90% of the time, they will actually do a good job at what they were ordered. I can freely switch between four characters and don’t have to worry about them dying off as easily. I enjoyed playing through the story and History Mode provides a lot of replay value once you complete the story.

Surprisingly funner than expected
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Animation and combat is great! Assigning your units commands to attack or defend adds more strategy in the game. There are framerate issues when playing split screen.

Good hack & slash game, so-so Fire Emblem game
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This newest Warriors entry improves greatly on the Wii U's Hyrule Warriors. Mainly, it's a lot less monotonous and you get a lot of leeway with your party. However, it's a very easy game in general. Even in the most difficult game settings, I managed to get an S rating on my first attempt on nearly every level. The amiibo features are also somewhat lacking as they only give basic weapons, although they do scale with your level. All-in-all, I got an enjoyable 25+ hours out of the game through its various modes, and the later stages do provide a good challenge. I give it a B- rating overall.

Great time sink and local co-op hack-n-slash rpg
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The game was actually a lot mroe fun than I was expecting. I sank many more hours into the game much faster than i was expecting, and went out of my way to obtain some of the harder characters on the history maps. (post-story content) If you want a super deep campaign I'd look elsewhere, this is more Fire Emblem Fanfic than a great masterpiece in gaming storytelling, but if you want to see characters from Fates and Awakening interact with one another, look no further! I will be buying the DLC for sure. :)

A good entry point for newcomers.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall, this Dynasty Warriors style Fire Emblem game is great! It definitely has more improvement’s over Koei Tecmo’s last Nintendo crossover being 2014’s Hyrule Warriors. With keeping more in line with the actual Fire Emblem titles. Like moving your units to certain spots or to attack a certain opposing unit. And even keeping the the famous Weapons Triangle system. This title is one that Fire Emblem, Dynasty Warriors fans, and Switch owners should check out.

Fun Game
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game is a lot of fun. I'ts missing a few of the fan favorite characters, but that's a minor complaint. I don't usually like the warrior style-games, but I enjoyed Hyrule warriors enough to get this. Including the weapon triangle and pairing added enough strategic depth to really elevate this game for me past the usual beat em up style games, though I wish pairing to S rank was available for every combination.

A Fire Emblem game for Dynasty Warrior Fans
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I enjoyed it. I like hack-n-slash games but really love Fire Emblem. So I was intrigued to try this. It is definitely more DW than FE but the weapons triangle of FE is at play among some other small FE gameplay aspects. But this game is more about mowing down countless enemies more than strategy. In short, a fan of DW will like this but if you aren’t then you probably aren’t going to like this one either.
