    Compared to Hyrule Warriors...

It's odd. The Story is almost the exact same story but with Fire Emblem characters and more overexaggerated stereotypical hyperbole. But gameplay wise it's way more fun and cohesive than Hyrule Warriors ever was, and the History Mode vs. HW's Adventure Maps I definitely think History Mode is less arduous and more fun than even the Story. So I'd recommend it, just know the Story is basically a joke.

I've been a fan of Warriors games for years now playing a lot of Gundam and Hyrule. The devs tackling Fire Emblem did a great job implementing the weapon triangle from the Fire Emblem series. The story mode may seem short and predictable, but the real fun doesn't start until you unlock History mode. Overall it's a fun game with plenty of characters to invest in with lots of collectibles to be had.

If you are someone who enjoys playing hack and slashes this game could be one that you might what to consider purchasing. Like other warriors games you run Around taking down a lot of enemies, but unlike others it introduces elements that make it more about strategy than other things. On the down side the game sometimes crashes when there is too much to process due to the speed some units go at

Fun warriors game with a strategic. Biggest complaint is lack of character variety

A good game that has faults

If you are a fan of the recent fire emblem games this is a good game, especially for Awakening and Fates. And that fits my bill to the T. Has similar gameplay to other Dynasty Warrior games but with twists from the Fire Emblem game. While you are able to switch from character to character in the middle of battle, the CPU is decent in doing work on its own if you have preferred characters.

I haven't had a lot of time to play, but what I did was so much fun. It plays fluidly. I played a lot of the Warrior games they always seem to be more fun than I think they are (and I knew they were fun). I haven't gotten into the other modes yet. Story/campaign is split screen and it runs really well on split screen. Play on hard if you know how to play. Greater challenge adds alot .

Definitely an improvement over Hyrule Warriors. Good use of strategy, able to manage and switch between characters on the battlefield. Extra weapon variety and strategy inspired by the Fire Emblem franchise (also plenty of fan service, mostly for the 3DS titles). Ultimately your mileage with this game will depend on tolerance of Warriors hack and slash gameplay.

Fire Emblem Warriors brings all the mindless fun of Warriors games with all your favorite characters from the Fire Emblem series. It may be a button mashing hack and slash but there is definitely some skill and planning needed for this game, especially if played in classic mode. Its everything you love about the Warrior's games with a classic Fire Emblem flair.

    A Great Warriors Game

Fire Emblem Warriors is not a typical Fire Emblem game. It's much more like Hyrule Warriors or Dynasty Warriors instead. You get your main character, plus different characters from the Dynasty Warriors legacy and go onto battlefields in a 3d world where you fight countless enemies. It's repetitive, but enjoyable in a mind numbing kind of way.

I have been playing this game a lot and can’t get enough of it! If you are into these hack and slash games, it is very satisfying but more of the same. It however is much more polished with the abilities to swap between up to four characters. I wish there was local co-op between seperate Switches but still a great game none the less

While I could never get into the Warriors franchise in years past, the fusion of Fire Emblem story and lore really helped change that. While it’s certainly not the most eye pleasing or intuative game on the market, it’s kept my attention this past week. I’m looking forward to the forecasted DLC over the next year.

If you are a fan of Fire Emblem and the Dynasty Warrior series, then this is the game for you. The mechanics are very similar to Dynasty Warriors but just with your favorite Fire Emblem characters. It's a fast paced, hack and slash type game so if that is not what you are looking for then I would stay away.

If you like dynasty warriors you will enjoy this game. It is different and you can switch between heros during gameplay which is fun and there are some great fire emblem characters in here as well. However it is missing all of the heroes I fell in love with on the Gameboy advance but still a fun game.

Fire Emblem is one of my favorite game series...and I’ve been loving the Nintendo Switch system. So it was a no brainer to grab this game on day 1! This game has a bit of everything and a bit of new to keep every gamer happy. My only problem...spending too much time playing this game. LOL

Dynasty Warriors is even MORE fun when it has Fire Emblem characters. I've been playing it for weeks now, and it's just genuine fun. There are some nice twists to the Dynasty Warrior formula, and the classic gameplay us always a blast. I'd definitely recommend this, especially as a portable game.

This is a great game. It really is a lot of fun and has a ton of characters to play. It’s very similar to Dynasty Warriors, which is a good thing. There is tons of unlocks and upgrades for every character and you can replay all the missions for more materials to customize. Tons of fun!!

    Great story, repetitive action

The gameplay is flawless in maneuverability and graphics. The story flows and there really isn't any plot holes if you are familiar with the series or not. The only drawback is the repetitive action combat but it is as to be expected with this type of game so I cannot judge that so harshly. The camera seamlessly moves around the character and it is easy to swap characters in battle. Leveling up and upgrading gives major advantages in the game and make it easy to breeze through previous levels for collectibles. This is a game for all ages to play and enjoy as I do with my 2 year old son.

I've always been a Fire Emblem fan but when I saw it was going to be going in a different direction I was a bit worried but decided to give it a go anyways. The new style if refreshing and fun its almost a mnindless hack n slash you can pop in and play then go on about your business.
