Ok I got the new one in the other day. It did take a very long time to get it but I'm going to look past that. It didn't have a scratch on it. Overall this seems to be a very nice safe. Lots of space (I can fit my arm in it up past my elbow to the back) There is also another storage area they don't mention in the description. Along the inside of the safe door is a compartment that can fit documents, money, anything that is not to large, that goes almost all the way across it. I had some trouble setting up the safe so I called the manufactures and the person I talked to was very friendly and helpful. And we had it up in running in no time at all. It comes with two keys in case you forget you pass key or the batteries go dead, and you can't get in to change them. The key door is hidden as well and requires a screw driver to open it. A nice feature I think. I can't attest to if the safe is as fireproof as it says it is because I am not willing to plunge the thing in to a inferno to see, and god willing I will never have to truly find out. Overall I would say I am very satisfied with the safe so far.

I was looking for a safe that was large enough to store personal documents. This is the perfect size and was easy to set up.

It does its job really well and we like that it is both fire and water resistant. Good amount of space as well.

Received with dents on one side. Gives me a hard time to open the door.

Price was good, delivery was exactly on time and the safe is quite impressive. Putting in a new code was easy and access is no problem. It's actually larger then I thought it would be. I am 100% satisfied.

The safe is over 90 pounds, water and fire proof. Easy to set up and quite sturdy.

I am very happy with the safe. It fits my personal family documents and it seems secure. The only challenge was is that in the setting of the new passcode took a long time. Only to have my 10 year old son come to me and tell me he set the new passcode! Safe seems very secure and well built. It is very heavy. I hope I will not have to find out if it is really fire or water proof.

Purchased this a few months ago. Seems to be a very durable safe. I really like that is fire and water safe. Many don't think about water safety. Easy to operate.

First Alert fire, and water resistant ( very important ) safe is easy to operate, very heavy to lift, and I like the hidden hinges that make it harder to pry open.

Silent keypad, solid locking deadbolts . Heavy duty case and difficult to access emergency key lock. Only thing that concerns me is the plastic keypad cover that activates the keypad when opened. A child could damage the cover easily causing the battery power to remain active. Far superior to another name brand safe that is half the size.

You have to buy this safe.. This safe is spacious and VERY big! I under estimated this item size and weight. I am happy that I purchased this big boy! Safety First.

Weighs a ton brand fkng new doesn't work!!! An item brand new should not be broken when you get it. Can't even lock it with a key!!! Now I have to drag this lump of S#$%t! back. First alert won't even take it back they said throw it away!

Was so easy to program. Elite design. Ease to operate. Can store digital media and documents with ease. After spending some time looking at similar Sentry safe we bought this one and we have made the right choice. Best Buy customer service was excellent. It was delivered within 3 days of order as published.

Arrived dented in on the upper left hand side and about a four inch crack as well. I don't think the door will even open because of the dent. I do not think this was from the shipping company ether. The box did not have a scratch on it. The manufacture did this and tried to sell it anyway. In the process of sending it back and having another delivered. If it is in good condition and works well I will give another review. But having it messed up like it is and selling it anyway does not give me much faith in there company.
