    I purchased this to replace our Neat ones that had expired. They fit in the slot well and were easy to install. I was disappointed that they no longer have the motion sensor night light.

    Our Nest Protect expired and they no longer make them. This was recommended as a good replacement. Very easy to set up and install in the same location. Would definitely recommend this product!

    I bought this to replace a Nest Protect that expired. All the features — Lower price — Easy setup Resideo is the engineering team that has always made Honeywell Home thermostats and First Alert devices.

    Easy to install (needs a First Alert app), works with existing Nest Protect detectors. Voice not as clear as existing Nest products but no issues so far.

    If you are committed to Nest Protect this is your only alternative. I found it inferior to the Nest Product for 2 reasons: 1. Poor battery life 2. False alarms Be very careful of e-Bay sellers advertising Nest units since my experience was that they were defective. It appears that e-Bay does not regulate their sellers like Best Buy or Amazon and good luck getting a full refund for defective product.

    Replaced on older nest detector. Setup was easy enough. And mounts onto the old nest mount. Doesn’t have the presence light that the nest did.

    Easy to install and a good replacement for my Nest Protect that is expiring soon. I was even able to use the Nest Protect bracket to install the First Alert detector. It also works seamlessly with the Google Home App.
