Heavy and topical in its own unique way.

Ethan Hawke is excellent and the writing and directing succeeds in simply conveying an air of uncertainty and tense dread. A wonderful film.

DO NOT BUY

I’m normally a fan of Ethan hawke but the message this movie brings isn’t a safe one. Basically he’s a priest in a very small church and becomes radicalized and decided he wants to strap a suicide vest on and blow people up at a ceremony to protest global warming and what humans are doing to the environment. This supports using violence with things you don’t agree with and I cannot support this. I wish I could get my money back but since it was opened I cannot.
