Great range more than justifies the price

Love this range. Incredibly precise control and tons of features. I would have liked a gas stove, but my kitchen has no gas hookup, and installing one would have run close to two thousand dollars. But now that I’ve owned this range for a few weeks, I honestly can’t imagine ever going to gas again. The incredible responsiveness and exact control of the hobs is every bit as precise as a gas burner, without all the wasted energy. For those not familiar with induction, the burners (hobs) don’t get hot. They generate an electromagnetic field that turns your pots and pans into the actual heating element. The result is that your pans heat up a lot faster and no heat is lost in the transfer from hob to pan, again because the hobs don’t generate heat. Another benefit is that once you remove a pan from the range, the hob cools down very quickly since it contains no burner. The power boost feature is also incredible, making it possible to bring a full tea kettle to a boil in under two minutes. And the pizza oven mode is terrific, providing fast high heat to give you a quickly toasted pizza crust without drying out the middle or making it too chewy. A godsend to anyone who dreams of making a neopolitan crust pizza in their own home. Honestly, the instruction book is filled with functions and I haven’t even scratched the surface of what this can do. Also, one big surprise was how much more beautiful and well-made this range looks in person. The knobs are milled from solid stainless and there are halos of light around each one that change colors depending on the temperature. The fit and finish are excellent. Even the sides are polished to a mirror finish. Too bad no one will ever see them once it’s installed in your cabinets.

This combination 30” induction cooktop and oven are just the right size for our small kitchen. We love the feet so that it looks (and is) freestanding. The warming drawer is convenient. The fit and finish are superb throughout. The soft-close door, the gliding racks, and best of all, the completely intuitive controls. The clock is also a timer and controls the modes - brilliant!
