Great fridge. Has soft close doors which helps with not keeping them open by accident, keeps things cool and matches perfectly with our cabinets. Only downside is it's depth, but that's what you get with Counter Depth i suppose.

Extremely happy with this fridge and the way it turned out. Fisher & Paykel is of the highest build quality and the functionality is great for a fridge this size. A clean aesthetic and updated technology make it seem like a sturdy appliance for years to come. My only advice would be to make sure the dimensions fit your kitchen space perfectly, find a licensed installer who is familiar with integrated fridges, and work with a high-quality cabinet maker to build your custom panels. If there is a Fisher & Paykel showroom near you, definitely make a visit and see the fridge in person. Fantastic product!

It looks so good and works great. Some people might think it’s a little small but I think it’s just right. Lots of adjustments available for getting the panels and everything lined up just right.

The panels look fabulous on the fridge and it fits well in the opening. The only issue is that the fridge appears to become slightly out of line with use. It was installed per the manufacturer's instructions.

Review: Extremely Disappointing Experience with Best Buy Appliance Purchase & Installation My entire experience with Best Buy — from purchasing a refrigerator to its installation — has been by far the worst customer service ordeal I’ve ever dealt with. I strongly do not recommend purchasing an appliance, especially a “special order” item, from Best Buy. The issues began right after the purchase. The online representatives were not only uninformed about the product, but also completely unaware of the required accessories that must be ordered with it. In my case, this was a built-in panel-ready refrigerator — a very specific and complex appliance that clearly required more product knowledge than anyone I spoke to had. For the past three months, I had to call Best Buy almost daily just to get updates, clarification, or resolution. One of the most frustrating moments was that the Geek Squad never came out to measure the installation space, despite this being a basic and necessary part of the process. The installation team sent to do the work lacked experience with this particular model and seemed eager to back out at every opportunity. They showed up unprepared and unwilling to handle the job — often finding reasons to leave without completing the service. Even now, after the most recent installation attempt, parts of the refrigerator are still falling off. It’s been a completely exhausting and unacceptable experience from beginning to end. Best Buy needs to reevaluate their handling of high-end appliance purchases, particularly those that require customization and experienced technicians. This entire process has been a failure, and I would caution others to avoid going through what I did.

It is being two months and still haven’t received the installation for my fridge. Apparently Bestbuy works with third party for installation and they either don’t know how to install the panels or they want to charge us separately for $1000-1300 just to install the panel. If you want to receive a quality installation of the panels on these types of fridges, hire someone separately to install it. Bestbuy supports team is not familiar with panel-ready appliances.

Took two men over 4 hours to install. water dispenser broke within days. Repairman not available for 10 days. I would not recommend.

I purchased the Fisher & Paykel RS36A80J1N refrigerator. Since installation, the ice maker has consistently underperformed, often producing only one or two cubes per day. Despite replacing the water filter as advised by a technician, the issue persists. When I contacted Fisher & Paykel for support, they declined assistance, citing that the service was not arranged directly through them, even though the problem existed from the start. For a premium-priced appliance, this lack of support is unacceptable. I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and advise potential buyers to consider other brands that stand behind their products.
