This game is awesome. It can get tedious when it comes to leveling up, but it is a fun game to play.

I love this game. If you're a fan of Fist of the North Star, you already know it's going to be over the top, gory, and great. Unlike the other games. which were more like dynasty warriors, this one is open-work. You have mini-games and side quests.. You drive and customize a car. Also, actually doing moves is more involved than in previous games. You need to hit particular buttons at particular times. Its a really good step forward for the franchise. It is not the best example of an open world rpg but, for Fist of the North Star, it's great. Another cool thing is that you can change the voice acting to Japanese. I saw the series in Japanese so no other language sounds right. Last thing, it has a reversible cover and there is a decal page behind the cover.

The setting of FOTNS is wonderfully adapted to the Yakuza style of game, though not without some sacrifices. Unlike the main Yakuza games it takes a long time to unlock all of the minigames and activities, which is a big bummer. On the other side, the combat is incredible and probably my favorite out of the Yakuza series. Great game overall despite issues.

From the makers of my favorite video game series (Yakuza) comes a new video game version of my favorite anime. If you're familiar with Yakuza you should know what to expect here, if not I would recommend playing those games first. Villains! - Say Your Prayers Before You Die!

From the studio that made the Yakuza franchise. It plays very similar, with a few changes to combat and extra side activities. The visuals are decent; it does not use the new Dragon Engine that was implemented in Yakuza 6 and Yakuza Kiwami 2 so it doesn't look as good as those games, but the art style makes up for it.

This is the best Fist of the North Star title to make it to the west and is an enjoyable experience. It is made by the same studio that does the Yakuza series of games, but might come off as more shallow of a game in comparison, especially to fans of that series.

Explore an alternate version of the Fist of the North Star canon; take control of Kenshiro as he searches for his lost love Yuria in a post-apocalyptic wasteland. For anyone unfamiliar with the original story, Lost Paradise can be enjoyed as a completely standalone experience. Fist of the North Star feels like the perfect anime adaptation. It has the looks, the bloody combat sequences and the free roaming through the wasteland, with many collectibles, minigames and some surprises for Sega fans, although it doesn´t feel as polished as a Yakuza Game.

This game! It kind of reminds me of the Yakuza titles (pretty sure same company made this game), but it's of much smaller scale. Overall if you like the anime I am sure you will love this game. If not, or unsure, wait for a sale.

If you like FIst of the North Star, you'll definitelybe a fa of the over the top action and the combat, but a lot of the side stuff in the game doesn't cut it for me. I'm definitely going to finish the story though!

Initial doubts vanished as soon as I started playing. Addictive minigames, excellent free-roam, awesome substories and cool racing mechanics. The story was great. As someone new to anything Fist of The North Star, it was a perfect introduction. This is a Yakuza title with a Fist of the North Star lore. My only critique of this game applies if you're interested in getting the trophies - the grind is real, to a fault. I want to make a special note of the massive replay value of this game as there is an optional area with really powerful enemies and rare materials exceeding the difficulty of the main story - you are well-rewarded for your curiosity. As usual, Ryu Ga Gotoku studios impressed and to fellow Yakuza fans, you will feel right at home with the Yakuza mechanics and the voice cast - yet you will be playing a different kind of adventure. This is what a good spinoff is.

I remember watching this anime as a kid. This game much like the anime is NOT for kids. If you know anything about this series you knoe why. Kind of reminds me of the Yakuza games in how the game is layed out.

Really for fans of FotNS, it’s fairly repetitive, but there is plenty to do on the side, that when the story gets to reptative you can step away for side quest and mini games that will in turn help out when you get back to the story.
