Customers highly value the excellent gameplay and storyline in Fist of the North Star: Lost Paradise, frequently comparing it favorably to the Yakuza series. The game's compelling story and intense, stylized combat are also praised, along with the inclusion of various side activities. While some found the dialogue to be somewhat lacking, the overall experience is overwhelmingly positive.

It's just ok
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nothing groundbreaking but it's not a bad game either....the gameplay is a bit repetitive and the graphics are nothing to write home about but it can still be fun if you have nothing new to play.

Great game that shouldn't be missed
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game is so fun and enjoyable, it is a shame that it probably won't get a large audience. Like Yakuza there are a lot of things to do, and has a great sense of humor. The main story is fairly serious, but many of the side quests are light-hearted and entertaining. I didn't think I would enjoy the motorcycle batting practice as much as I do. One of the things that does reduce my enjoyment is that during the fights, it can be easy to loose sight of enemies due to how the camera behaves. This can especially be true during boss battles, so it can be frustrating for a fast boss to run circles around Ken and not being able to align properly to defend or attack. Luckily it hasn't made the fighting painful. I am used to the Yakuza fighting system, so I may be more forgiving than others. The game does have some quick time events, but for the most part the amount of time provided is actually very lenient. Just be aware that during boss fights pressing the incorrect button or missing the timing can often times lead to instant death. When this happen, the boss entry scene has to be watched again. Lost Paradise is a great fun game, and I feel well worth the purchase price.

Fans of the Yakuza series take note
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you're a fan of the Yakuza series you'll feel right at home in this game. IF not, it's a third person beat em' up action/adventure game. A big difference is Fist of the North Star is more violent and more over the top. You can change the gore, you can tone it down or increase it. Don't sleep on this game.
