    From what I’ve played so far (25+hrs) it wasn’t what I was expecting initially. It plays in similar fashion to the “Yakuza” series with the anime series dna. It’s a solid experience but can drag a bit early on. But once you get to a certain point the game expands to which you can get lost with much to do. A lot of content for what you pay for. It’s worth checking out if your a fan of the anime or are aware of the Yakuza series.

    This title shares many similarities to Yakuza including voice actors and even DLC to include Kiryu wandering the town of Eden. Gameplay is similar with fighting (Hokuto Shinken and a variety of finishing moves) and exploring for every hidden detail, talking to NPCs. Purchasing the launch edition nets you neat collectibles like profane stickers, some DLC and a reversible cover art.

    Fist of the North Star is one of those series that I wanted an amazing game from but neither of the Warriors spin offs were good. This though, copying the formula from the Yakuza games, is a winner and one of the biggest surprises of 2018. You don't even have to be a fan of the FOTNS series to enjoy this. If you like Yakuza, beat em ups or action RPGs, you absolutely need to play this game.
