Fitbit Ulta: tells time & lets me read enough of incoming texts to get the msg. It counts my steps from wrist contact. Which was the initial attraction. I was tired of trying to keep my phone on my body to register activity! I hate that the band doesn't have a small buckle. The double pins that must pop into holes is a pain! Why 250 steps per hour to meet certain goals? Total steps should be the daily measure. Not all of us can just pop up from work every hour to hit 250. But some hours are 1500!! and it's not distributed to previous or future hours. Whatever the min reading it displays is useless as well. It should be heart rate. The other models are too big for my wrist.

I bought this Fitbit as a gift for my Mother-in-Law. It has worked as a great tool to motivate her to achieve her daily goal. The Bluetooth functionality with your smartphone for text and call notifications is also very helpful.

After I purchased the Fitbit Alta, I started paying attention to how much exercise I was getting each day. Interesting...exercise is now in my vocabulary!

The Fitbit Alta is a great product and is easy to set up and use. I love having all of the information sent to my phone and logged there. I also love to compete against my daughter.

Treated myself to this fitbit. I LOVE the gold detail on the side. this one doesn't have the heart rate tracker, but honestly i don't think i'd use that

The Alta is extremely sensitive and as such is not accurate in tracking my steps. I keyboard without having moved in my chair except for my hands and my step count goes up.

I like this bit over the basic bit - it doesn't get forgotten and accidentally put in the washing machine so much. Very convenient and comfortable. I found it was a little short recording my steps - not too bad but off.

This was a gift for my grandson. He asked for the gold series but I spoke with Fitbit several times before ordering. I am still not satisfied that the only thing the additional $20 in price got me was a color change.
