I read a ton of reviews before buying and knew exactly what functionalities I was getting. Even then, I was a little disappointed. I had a Fitbit Flex for a number of years and moving to the cooler looking Alta felt like a logical next step (no pun intended). However, the rubber in the band felt a lot more rigid than the Flex. The step count was off when compared to my Flex or my Galaxy S7. If this is your first fitness tracker, then its a good buy, especially at the Black Friday pricing. However, if you've owned fitness trackers before, it may not be long before you stop wearing it.

Fitbit claims the watch counts your steps... it doesn't. It didn't register my steps correctly when I was on a treadmill! The strap is terrible. The watch pops off. I finally lost it. The strap discollored my arm. I couldn't read the time in bright sunlight!. It is one of the worst,, maybe THE worst highly priced products I have unfortunately bought!
