Less than one star. Do not waste the money. Constantly inaccurate. Stick with a Taylor scale. This sucks do not buy. Good thing I was able to return.

The scale provides a weight when you stepped on it but re-calibrates that weight when it syncs to your phone. In most cases, that re-calibrated weight is less than the weight shown on the scale. That is very comforting.

Problems syncing reliably, which is the main point of a smart scale. WiFi connection is a joke. I've been getting weak signal errors with the scale a few feet from a gaming router.

Does not do any of the fancy stuff it’s supposed to for the price. Doesn’t connect to WiFi, doesn’t show my body fat, doesn’t send anything to my phone... And feels cheap. Waste of money.

Initially, I was all in with the Fitbit line of products. But it wasn’t long after this purchase that I decided they were all hype and no purpose. The scales data was wrong from the beginning!

Setup was easy. For the first few days, the scale lost its wifi connection & I had to redo the wifi setup. Once I connected to our 5G option, the scale has worked flawlessly, retaining the wifi settings. I really like this scale. :)

    Poor support

I had the Aria1 for 2 years and liked it. Issues arise when the battery needs to be changed and the software is so bad it cannot be configured back even via factory settings and fails. This is a known problem (search ERR yourself). When raised via Customer Support Fitbit solution is to buy a new scale. For $150 scale that is only 2 years old, I am not satisfied with this response This is why I suggest you not purchase a scale. I have other Fitbit products, however this experience has turned me away from future purchases.

Set-up was no problem (for 2 different persons). I returned the unit as the body fat measurement does not work properly. I have around 17% and it showed me 22%........

    Danger to Medical implant patients

    Posted .

The owners manual for the scale that I was sent was about six pages long and written and five different languages on those six pages. It was exceedingly slight compared to the knowledge that the scale seem to be capable of encoding. I never did figure out how to use it. I got to Page 6 after doing the setup in my initial way in and saw that had my husband stepped on the scale his electronic medical implanted device might have malfunctioned. If that happened he could have had a life-threatening situation. That information is not printed on the box, or on any of the information that I found online about the scale. To me that is a gross case of negligence. I actually got emotional when I realized what could have happened. It was in my house for 10 minutes and it's now in my car. Something else about the scale that other people should know, you need a Wi-Fi connection in order to see your measurements in real time. Otherwise you have to hit download every time you want to see those measurements update on to a Google doc spreadsheet. This is not an easy to use item for someone who doesn't have 20 to 30 minutes a day to invest in updating information downloading information and then tracking that information. It is a complete waste of my time. Fail

My Aria lasted 2 years. When it became defective Fitbit told me that it was outside of their 1 year limited warranty. If you buy their products, just know it isn’t going to last.

Do not buy. WIFI stops working after warranty expires. Customer services is a joke. They will have you perform the same steps over and over again before telling you tough luck. Will not buy any product from them again.

Bought this scale a couple of years ago and it goes through batteries often. It is constantly sensing when nobody is using it. BMI is also suspect. This is a lot of money for a scale that works poorly.
