This is a perfectly good scale that does what its supposed to do. The problem is that I feel like it's supposed to do more. The adjustable stand is nifty for uneven surfaces. It connects to my fitbit so that's one less step. My issue is that it seems to be holding back on certain features that I was expecting out of the box. From what I read, it was supposed to show BMI amongst other information. Unless I haven't tapped into a setting, I haven't been able to use it for anything except weight. It's kind of like looking at the blank buttons on a car; as nice as it is, you know that you're missing some features. As disappointing as that is, at least it does its main job correctly.
Hi, DCole. We're sorry to hear that your Fitbit Aria scale is not showing your BMI. The BMI only appears on your web-based Dashboard (fitbit.com/login). This information doesn't appear on the Fitbit Aria's display. When you get to the "Weight" section on your web-based Dashboard, select the "BMI" button as it appears in the image below. This is a great looking scale that works very well. Connecting it to my phone via Bluetooth was easy. Once that was done, it's just a matter of opening the app and stepping on the scale and the weight automatically transfers to the app. Reconnecting the phone to the scale is not required each time you use it.
The BEST thing about this scale is that the numbers are going DOWN every day. (Just kidding. That's due to my weight loss efforts and not a feature in the scale itself, of course)
The quality of the scale seems very good as well. It registers the weight quickly and transfers the data to the phone quickly.

Scale is sleek looking, low profile, and appears to be accurate (using medical scale to compare to). It "wakes" quickly upon stepping onto it and gives a reading within a matter of milliseconds. Upon first pairing the scale, it connected to the fitbit app with no problem. Second, third, and fourth times using the scale over a course of 2 weeks, the bluetooth failed to pair to phone. After 2 weeks, with no real explanation,
the bluetooth has functioned properly. According to reviews this lack of bluetooth connectivity is a known problem with this scale. As of right now, it is connecting as it is supposed to and logging my weigh ins on my Fitbit app. Time will tell if the connectivity issues return.

This is a fairly standard weight scale. Setup was exceptionally easy and I like that the scale can sync with up to 8 profiles. Compairing this to past scales I have used, the data looks relatively accurate. I would say the only benefit to this scale versus other similarly price digital scales is that this can log directly to your fitbit app, which can be a boon if you find yourself integrated in the fitbit ecosystem. Though the scale only provides your overall weight and calculates your BMI in the app. Considering other scales in this price range can potentially provide more data, this can be a deal breaker.

The scale has nice design and clear display. It took a long time to pair up with my iPhone XR. The only issue is that it does not track body fat percentage.

Didn't buy it from Best Buy. But I have been using the Aria Air for 4 years and its honestly more frustrating than anything. In order to get it to add your weight you have stand on the scale, open the Fitbit app, click plus, then weight, then it will update your number based on the scale reading, then click save to update your weight. You also have to have it active in your account and anyone that uses it has to follow the same process. If it syncs at all it saves you from entering the Numbers, thats it. There is no weigh in history. Very frustrating and confusing really. The measurements are pretty accurate, but not really a smart scale. It's supposed to just pop up your weight when you open the app while on the scale, however it does not do this. Still requires 4 steps first, then a click to save. The Aria 2 was awesome, it kept history, knew multiple users and more. The Air is basic as you can get from a smart scale. I don't recommend the Fitbit Air personally.

Adequate Fitbit Scale

I had a previous Fitbit Aria scale (different version than this one) that finally failed on me after many years, so I needed a new scale. I was bummed to see that Fitbit no longer offers the previous version because I liked the feature which measured body fat % (this new scale does not do that).
This new scale isn't bad. I like that it connects quickly via blue-tooth because I hated having to re-connect my old scale to the wifi repeatedly (it always seemed to drop the network). However, you need to weigh yourself with your phone nearby to collect your weight data since the scale won't save it.
This scale also had widely varying measurements for my weight from day-to-day after first starting to use it (I couldn't possibly be gaining/losing 10 pounds each day), but now the fluctuations are much more minor and I trust that the displayed weight is correct.
In summary: Good: fast weight display, quick/reliable connection via blue-tooth, accurate weight; Bad: must have phone with you as you weigh, does NOT do body fat %

I love this scale so much! It will usually autoconnect to my app if my cell is on the floor with it. I would've given this a five star had it not taken six different tries and over two hours for me to get it set up and connected to my app for the first time.

Scale is black, sleek and shiny. It syncs to the Fitbit app on my phone after each weigh in. The scale displays the weight in kg and the Fitbit app automatically converts it to pounds.

Seems to be accurate reading. Occasionally wants to record a pound heavier on the app than what is reading on the scale. Sleek design and very user friendly. Easy to record on my Inspire FitBit.
