This is easy to use and comfortable and the batteries last long long time. The display is easy to read, and it's very stylish without being too large. The magnetic charging cable is very convenient. it linked to my phone easily and seems to update on a regular basis.

I have been using Fitbit for about 12-13 years. I am upgrading to this from a Charge 4. My charge 4 was still working. I finally chose to upgrade for the color display, the wireless notifications, Google Maps and Google Pay. I was going to wait, because I was not sure I wanted to give up the altimeter and tracking floors. I didn't have that feature before I got the Charge 4 though, so I decided I wouldn't really miss it. Most of my elevation change occurs when I am walking anyway, which gets picked up when tracking walks with the GPS on my phone. I don't really miss it. Everything else about it, is better than the charge 4. I can see the display when I am walking, I do actually flip it up when I get a text to see if I want to bother reaching for my phone or not. I also feel it is more form fitting than my Charge 4, even though the specs would indicated it is a little thicker, it feels thinner. I thought long and hard about getting this or moving to a smart watch. Seriously considered moving to a Pixel or a Galaxy watch, but this does everything I need it to do, does it well, costs less, has better battery life, and over the years, I have gotten used to the smaller form factor. I am glad I decided to stick with the tracker. It is working well at tracking my activity and my calorie burn and I am using it to succesfully maintain a calorie device with a combination of this and the Android app, and it is working fine.

Does everything you need. Accurate and light/small enough to forget you are wearing it, Battery life is a big bonus over an Apple Watch.

I bought the Charge 6 in late 2023 specifically to track sleep and steps. I never owned a personal fitness device like this before. At that time I still wore an analog wristwatch regularly, so I wanted a low-profile device I can wear on my opposite wrist and to sleep with at night. The Charge 6 was perfect in both these respects. The app set-up and pairing with device was easy, and I was able to start using my device right away. I mostly use the app, and it has been great tracking my steps and helping me improve my sleep habits. For example, it encouraged me to make sure I got to bed earlier and cut-off any devices earlier because going to bed later and watching TV/being on the computer late at night really impacted my sleep negatively. Also, if I drink any alcohol, even one glass of wine within several hours of going to bed, I noticed my sleep was also affected (typically less REM and deep sleep). This device was easy to wear every day, and I did not get overly consumed with the data. However, I had to replace it after 15 months because the screen just 'blanked out' (showing fuzzy white screen), and the battery was burning out fast at the same time the screen issue happened. I tried to reset but that did not work. Interesting, it still was tracking my fitness, e.g. steps, sleep, etc., and was recording to the app. In March 2025 I bought a new Charge 6 to replace my first one. FUnny thing about the new Charge 6, which paired nicely with my existing app and data, is that it seems to be 'giving' me better sleep, i.e. showing improved sleep assessment, than my old Charge 6. The other thing I would mention is that the steps are overexaggerates my steps. But overall I would highly recommend this device.

Perfect for accurately tracking outdoor activities such as h8king, especially with the built in GPS. Easily moves data between phone app (necessary), and even the Weight Watchers app, for tracking exercise points. Long battery life indoors, but well-advised to charge before using it sans-phone with the GPS running. App displays map of hiked trail. Would like it if Walking also produced a map. Walking with GPS is very accurate, though. Using weight, the system gives you calculated calories burned. Sleep data is incredible. I always knew I had a sub-60 Resting Heart Rate, but with constant monitoring, turns out mine is actually 52 bpm!

The Fitbit -Charge 6 is very helping in tracking heart rate and steps per day. It is also bigger than previous models. I like it...The rubber band can irritate skin if not monitor.

My Fitbit Sense died after a few years so I thought I’d try the Charge 6 as it had the same health tracking features and was $100. cheaper. Really happy with it. Holds a charge for 6 or so days and I like that it’s a bit smaller. I don’t use my it (or used the sense) to get messages or pay for things - really just use it for health tracking and I’m very happy with it.

I’m upgrading from a Charge 5 to this under unique circumstances where this one is significantly more worth it for me to have. For one I ACTUALLY use YouTube music primarily, and I am immediately loving the music controls that this gives me when I’m listening (does suck for everyone who uses Spotify or Apple Music). I like the google maps integration and how it tells you where to go next, I think I will probably try that out on my next big bike ride when I get a chance, will see how that goes and will come back if I think of anything notable to add on that. Finally, time will tell how reliable the fitness device HR connectivity will tell, I will be trying it on my Peloton, will come back and update if I have any substantial problems with connecting it. Main downside? As other reviews particularly on Amazon would tell you, ease of connectivity during setup seems to be inconsistent. I was able to get mine to successfully connect after several rounds of restarting the tracker and my phone, but it did take me about 20 minutes. If you have trouble like I did, reset the Fitbit in the setup phase - use the included charging cable that has a button on it and press the button 3 times with about a second in between presses (you should feel/hear the Fitbit respond to the button press). You’ll know it reset successfully if you see the Fitbit logo reappear. Once it connected, I haven’t had problems with it disconnecting yet (again, will come back and update if this changes).

Good and accurate device, sometimes have trouble connecting to the phone via Bluetooth. Maybe because we got two Fitbits in our house and there might be Bluetooth channels conflict.
