    Not happy

I traded in a bad Charge 5 for an Inspire 3. The Charge 5 had too many health items and you had to tap over and over to get to steps counter plus is has congratulatory messages with vibrations every 2500 or so steps. But the Inspire -does the same and has tiny tiny graphics you can't read and I've just been through 2 of them and both were defective. Now I'm ordering a different brand. I'm only giving it 2 stars because despite not communicating with the app (it doesn't) the 2nd one is still counting my steps.

DO NOT BUY FOR CHILD/TEEN on Family Link!!!!

Device is useless if you plan to have a child/teen on your Family Link account use it. Basically, you either have to drop you child from the account or use a "Kiddie" Fitbit Ace device. I don't find that to be acceptable - especially since I did not find that on the google store info. I was told by "customer service" that I should have read the community forum information about that before buying it. NO - you should tell your customers about limitations UP FRONT! I asked the rep what I should do with the device, and they told me to send it to the nearest electronics waste handling company. SERIOUSLY!!!!! I guess that is a simple solution. I may just have to do that with all my Google products!!!!

    Don’t buy Fitbit from retailer!

Do not buy Fitbit from retailer! The Fitbit company will not accept a return or exchange if not purchased directly from them. I even had my receipt and all parts; it was only 2 months old and quit working completely with all kinds of troubleshooting. Google has purchased this company and it is a MESS! Previously I have loved Fitbit. I have had great experiences for 7 + years with lots of help and even returned an item successfully. Not now!

    Good device, horrible app.

I purchsed this a few weeks ago and have no issues at all with the actual device. However the app for the device has been nothing but a pain. I have not been able to obtain meaningful sleep data from it and trying to get help for it through support has been nothing more then a keyword prompt whackamole by the support individual(if they're even a real person). And I'm not alone in these problems with the app, my advice don't buy this thing until there's some word that the app has been fixed.

    Cheap plastic

Cheap plastic that connects the watch to the watch band disintegrated within 4 months. It didn't get snagged on anything, it just fell off my wrist while I was walking. This is on the watch itself so it's not just a matter of replacing the band which would be a very easy fix. Fitbit is now owned by Google which should tell you all you need to know about the level of support you should expect to receive. You also now need a Google account to use the app or access your FitBit data online.

    Inaccurate Waste of money

Bought Fitbit Inspire 3 didn't work from day 1... logged over 5000 steps out of the box. It logged steps when on a desk or in a drawer. Fitbit determined device was defective and they would exchange it. Nightmare. First, Fitbit sent me a used return label per Fedex when I went to drop it off. After almost 2 weeks, I get a refurbished unit with skin cells that works worse then the original and appears to have a crack in the case (not waterproof now). What a waste of money.
