A Downgrade from the Original Sense
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I owned the original Sense and the main reason I "upgraded" to the Sense 2 was because the screen of my original Sense had the adhesive holding it in place disintegrated a few months ago, and even if I did repair it, I don't think the water resistance would still be in place. I thought this was a sign to upgrade to the new Sense 2 since normally when new products come out they improve upon the previous version. This is definitely not the case for the Sense 2. If this was the first version of the Sense (or Versa for that matter) I would probably be giving it a 4 or 5 star rating. The fitness features that remain do seem to be improved, but that's just going off a few days of use. The navigation, while different than the original Sense, does take some getting used to, but feels like an improvement over the original. Unfortunately for Fitbit, I do have an original Sense to compare to, and these are the features that have been removed as of my noticing, there may be more: 1) No Google Assistant. The original allowed you to choose between Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa, this one just gives you Amazon Alexa. While Alexa should work for a lot of things, if you've gone in on the Google ecosystem, this can hurt. 2) No Wi-Fi. The original allowed you to use Wi-Fi, so if you weren't close enough to your phone, it could still communicate with it and really sped up updates. This is nowhere to be found on this one, though rumors say it is still in the watch, just no way of activating it. 3) No 3rd party apps. You used to be able to download apps on the watch like Deezer, Spotify, or C25K, not any more. You are stuck with a handful of stock apps. 4) You can no longer control your phone's currently playing from the watch. 5) No on wrist Bluetooth calling. The original Sense allowed you to take phone calls through your watch. The Sense 2 does not even though it has a mic, speaker, and Bluetooth. 6) No Google Wallet or Google Apps (supposedly this is the only feature coming soon) even though Google owns Fitbit. 7) No snore detection. This is a Fitbit premium feature supported by then Sense, but is no longer supported by the Sense 2. Even worse, once you "upgrade" your Sense to the Sense 2, your previous snore reports disappear. It really seems like Google decided that the Fitbit watches were too much competition for their own smart watch and decided to bring down the nerf hammer on the latest generation of Fitbit watches. It does not mean that the features won't come in the future as a lot of those features didn't come with the original Sense out of the box, but it seems really odd that your new product wouldn't support old features. At the moment I can not recommend the Sense 2, you would be better off getting an original Sense or a Versa 3, though who knows if they won't retroactively get rid of a lot of those features that were added after launch.

Does the job!
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This watch is awesome so many health apps and can answer calls on my watch. Volume isn’t the best battery life is great. You do have to subscribe to get certain apps but I didn’t. The basic apps is all I need.

Versatile fitbit sense
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this fitbit model to track my sleep and heart rate. It has other neat features for calories, steps tracking, weather info, and ECG. Don’t give it a full five star as instead of providing a real time reading for oxygen saturation it only provides an average 02 while you are sleeping. The sleep tracking seems to require recalibration every so often because for me it started counting sleep hours when I was just resting. Also, the wrist band that came with my fitbit gave me an allergic reaction and had to get another one.

Fitbit-Sense 2 Review
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Fitbit Sense 2 is a great buy. It tracks everything I need to track and syncs easily with my pixel phone. It's an attractive watch as well. This is the second one I've owned as I cracked the face on the first one. Recommend buying an additional face protector to prevent scratches and scrapes.

Ionic vs Sense 2
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's not my last Fitbit (Ionic) which I had for 6 years. The Sense 2 is a little small, but not bad. The screen is smaller than my old Fitbit. The battery life is shorter than the Ionic

Small wave it fell off wrist. First time I purchased a Sense 2 seems to be a good choice. I have stuck with Fitbit for all my fitness watches.

Sense 2 has some issues.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was hoping to review this item after I finally got it working properly. Unfortunately, I have just talked Fitbit into taking it back and sending me a new one after about 6 weeks. So some of the problems I'm having may be either a bad design or an unusually poor production sample. I have been with Fitbit since 2014 and love their interface, sleep tracking, display, battery life, and app. I purchased a Fitbit Ionic when it first came out and it worked beautifully. When I upgraded to the original Sense, the biggest problem I had was that it failed to register an accurate heart rate when using something like an elliptical. But upgrading to this Sense 2 has brought on additional problems. It still does not keep up with heart rate on the elliptical but now the GPS operation is considerably degraded. On our 6 mile walks the Sense 2 is off by about 20%. In addition, the user interface has changed considerably, not for the better in my opinion. The addition of Google Maps does not offset the loss of hey Google.

Fitbit v Pixel
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this after researching the difference between the Fitbit and the Pixel. I have the Pixel phone and assumed it would be the better option to get the same brand. I decided to try the Fitbit and I am glad I did. I love all the features about this watch and cant wait to keep using.
