The Fitbit Versa 2 is a vast improvement over the previous Fitbit Charge HR I owned. The two biggest for me is that this is waterproof (lost my Charge HR to saltwater in the Atlantic) and I can play my Pandora music from my Versa 2! I am able to workout and not carry my phone at the gym!! This gives me all the fitness, nutrition, and sleep tracking I need and allows me to get phone calls, text messages, calendar, and music. They connect to my wireless earbuds. It also has other features like timers, alarms, Spotify, Alexa, payments, and so much more. This blows previous Fitbit smartwatches out of the water!! Battery life seems to be pretty good - no complaints. And lots of face appearance customization options. Did I mention you can get diffferent watch bands too! Yes, I do love this watch!

This is only my 2nd smart watch experience and it is better than I thought it would be. My 1st watch was from a startup company who focused heavily on the screen and health features. I didn't know what I was missing. The Versa 2 was the most affordable option for me and the bigger screen and suite of versatile options, is more than enough for me. As a first time customer, I signed up for the premium account but I think that's unnecessary for me. My favorite feature is speak-to-text. Leaving my phone down or to the side has gotten easier and easier over the years and I feel like this watch was my last missing piece. The battery life is amazing, something I never worry about. The watch is so popular I had no problem finding custom bands or screen protectors, which is a must for my tech.

I really like this fitness watch. I'm not as excited about it that it doesn't have a Google interface, but for the price I was willing to let it go. I love that I can swim with this for over an hour with no damage and that I can read and dictate messages to people that message me, AND in other languages besides English. The only down fall for this watch for me is that my skin is definitely sensitive to the band on the watch. I don't feel like I normally have sensitive skin, but extended wear of this watch, even if you are keeping the band dry, may still result in scaly flaky skin. After it happened the first time I changed how often I was wearing the watch and made sure that it was loose on my wrist but I still am developing a rash in the same spot as last time. I can't return the watch, but I definitely will be looking for some fabric type bands instead of this silicone type material that the band is made of so that I can continue to wear this watch. The battery life on it is okay. I think adding working out to your schedule will maybe keep your battery charged 4 days? But it's not bad. I don't think charging your watch for an hour every 4 or 5 days is a tedious thing.

While doing my search, I believe this was the most expensive of the Fitbit watches, so I was not completely sure if it was worth it, but upon buying and using it for over a month now, not including how fast and easy the Best Buy pickup process was, the watch itself charges fast, battery lasts pretty long, with my extended use especially with the exercise tracking feature, it's usually about 2 days before I need to charge it. Heart rate tracking spot on, along with all the other features as re great, especially when linked with other apps, specifically "My Fitness Pal" is my number one choose to use, though the Fitbit app on it's own is great as well. Quite sturdy as well will easy access to switch the bands out, though I recommend buying a screen cover just to be safe. Highly recommend!

I have really enjoyed all the features of this smart watch. If you read reviews, you'll see that the Versa 2 is not ranked as one of the top smart watches. My take on it is that it depends what you want from it. My biggest need when I purchased it was for general fitness info and the sleep tracking, and it had really surpassed my expectations. This definitely isn't my go to GPS watch for tracking runs, but I can say I will definitely wear this watch for everyday use since it's very comfortable and stylish compared to the GPS watch which is more useful for sport only. I also like all the different data you can get from this watch. It can help you pinpoint areas you can work on to boost your health. It's very useful for goal-setting, and the smart alarm feature is great.

I truly love the design and feel of my Fitbit versa 2 special edition. I wear it every day and night for it to track my sleep and steps. I have not had any issue with pairing it to my samsung galaxy s8. Works wonderfully!

Light and comfortable to wear. Bigger, color screen compared to the Charge4. Love the sleep calculating function, water function, exercise tracker, and more! It really is an indispensable tool for fitness and health!

Looks great on my wrist and love all the features--especially the ability to track my movement during many different types of activities. A big step up from the Fitbit Alta. Worth the price difference.

I did a fair amount of research and went to the Apple store before buying and am very pleased with the Versa 2. Setup was easy and worked without any issues. My understanding is that the watch collects the data which is passed to your SmartPhone resident FitBit app and to the FitBit cloud under your account. Some parameters are setup on the app while some are set in the watch and I seem to recall but can't be sure that there were a couple of parameters which could only be setup by logging into your FitBit account via a browser. Battery life is excellent and I have measured the batter drain a couple of times and it consistently draws 1/2% per hour which equates to 8 day battery life as promised by FitBit. I bout this mainly for the continuous heart rate monitoring and gym exercise tracking. The heart rate as measured by the FitBit is very accurate. I wanted to be able to display my current heart rate continuously while exercising which the Apple watch couldn't do. FitBit does have an optional subscription which shows a little more info and more historical info. Without the subscription some health metrics are only displayed for the last week but if longer historical info is needed you could record it in a spreadsheet. The silicon watch bands are OK and adequately comfortable although I think that an elastic band might be more comfortable. The display is large and is easy to read. I need reading glasses to read but I can see most of the data on the watch that I'm interested in without using reading glasses. I like the physical button on the side which takes you to the previous screen somewhat like a home button although the touch screen sensitivity for swiping between screens works well. The screen organization and navigation on the watch is largely intuitive and works well. The GUI (Graphical User Interface) on both the watch and the app are well thought out and executed. FitBit sells both watches and trackers. A tracker is smaller than the fitness watch and doesn't perform all of the Smart Watch non fitness functions. For me the fitness tracker screen is too small and swiping is more cumbersome (you have a shorter distance to swipe). I bought a FitBit Luxe tracker for my partner because she wanted something that looked more feminine and was smaller. I tried her tracker and solely due to the size would have returned it if I had bought it for me. I briefly considered the Versa 3 but didn't see any functionality that justified the higher price. If I was a runner and didn't run with a Smart Phone in my pocket I would have seriously considered the Versa 3. The Versa 3 has a GPS received built-in while the Versa 2 uses your phone's GPS receiver.

This Fitbit is easy to set up and very comfortable on my wrist. I love the app and love reviewing my sleep score, steps and heart rate. I like the gray color, too.

I’m liking what I’m getting with this Fitbit. Long story, but I have an Apple Watch 5 and was getting really frustrated with the issues I was having with it. Instead of replacing it with an expensive new Apple Watch I thought about what I truly wanted and it was the fitness pieces so I picked up this versa 2. I’m super happy with it. It does everything I want it to/need it to. The first thing I noticed is how light it is compared to the Apple Watch. I like the band better too; my Apple Watch bands gave me some skin irritation. The screen is very pretty and responsive. The best part is that I only have to charge it every few days compared to daily at best and twice a day at worst. Love the Fitbit versa 2.

I've been a Fitbit wearer since 2013 and have owned almost every upgrade since then. I've also upgraded from versa to versa 2. I prefer versa 2 (I also own an Apple Watch). Quick recharge and and battery life of 4 days (less if you use the music app while working out). I prefer the Fitbit app too. The music download is a little slow' Waterproof, Amazon Alexa built in, text message (don't mind too much not being able to make calls) sleep tracker is great, auto tracking for activity & exercise. I can download more music on my versa2 than my Apple Watch. One con (kind of annoying) the wi-fi is constantly disconnecting. I regularly have to check my wi-fi connection. When downloading music always check if connected to wi-fi - it's a good affordable activity watch.

I upgraded to this Fitbit versa 2 and so far I absolutely love it! The design is great, it’s easy to use and I love the built in Alexa feature! Also very reasonably priced. And I love the new color choices!

This is a great fitness tracker and adequate as a smartwatch. Had some issues with initial setup but once it finally connected it was great. Has heatrate censor, sleep tracking and pedometer. Great features for a low cost.

Great little smart watch with a sleek design. My mom was on her second Fitbit Alta HR, the first had gotten lost under our sofa while she was cleaning (the metal somehow got magnetized to the underside of the sofa) and after we found it months later, it never worked the same. The second just stopped syncing to her phone after a while. So I decided to upgrade her and to the Versa this past Christmas and she loves the larger screen with bigger numbers (she’s 65 and her eyesight isn’t the greatest). She loved the dark grey metal and I got her a chain link magnetized silver band off of Amazon to spruce it up. She’s also a bigger lady so the larger screen really fits her well.

Extremely lightweight, not bulky and the lavender is a gorgeous color. Easy to snap on, and can be worn loose or snug. Water proof-I don't wear it in the shower but put it on right after and don't have to worry about unclipping like my old one when I switch from Pj's to work pants, to workout gear, etc.....Put it on and forget about it (unlike the dressing room I had to go back to 2 hours later after trying on clothes once). Vibrates with texts/calls/reminds you to move every hour Easy syncing/tracking on phone-you can't see anything from the band so you have to sync periodically throughout the day from the app. I have my phone all the time so that's not a big deal for me. Removable tracker pops out easily and can be used in other accessories.

I have purchased a Fitbit Charger before and loved the feature of tracking the sleeping cycles (REM, Awake, Light, Deep), beats per minute, step tracker, time telling as such. I chose the Fitbit Versa in this case over an Apple Watch as it would be able to notify me of text messages, allow me to pause and un-pause my music, and the previous things I loved about the Charger. NOW the one downside of the Versa would be is that it DOES NOT track the sleeping cycles (REM, Awake, Light, Deep) with was the main reason I had chose this over an Apple Watch. Personally I would just choose a Fitbit Charger over the Versa as the functionality is slightly better than the Charger (just can't read text or pause/un-pause music), plus it isn't as bulky.

Initial reviews would have been naturally awesome. However, after using this for a long period of time, here goes my review. The watch is an awesome alternate to the mainstream watch devices. The battery backup is excellent. There is a good variety of stats that keep track of my fitness and calorie intake. My biggest caveat is the lack of intelligence to keep track of my fitness via the phone app. The watch does a good job in tracking it. But the app needs some work is what I feel at least for my personal usage. There is a slight lag at times during cold weather when temperature dips down to 30 degrees. Overall, it's a good device and is worth very dollar.

I had one previous to the one I got at Best Buy. The battery had quit. This new replacement was easy to set up. I like the fact that I can read the display even in sunlight. It warns me a ten to each hour to do my 250 minimum steps fro 9 am until 10 pm. The watch band is flexible and more comfortable than precious Fitbit Charge units. It keeps a charge at least 4 days. It also encourages me to get my heart rate up by encouraging more active minutes. The waterproof feature is great for tracking swimming.
