I bought this after much research on products like this. I chose this one because of what the literature said it was capable of doing. There was NO MENTION that in order for this to be anymore than a reminding device that you need to change your oil or rotate your tires, you need to buy the device and then pay that much again for a 1 year prescription. This is where we are as a society in the deceptive marketing arena. Thank God that Best Buy has an easy return policy... I am sure the device is good if you want to pay 2 times the advertised price, and that is renewable yearly!!!

Does what it say. The menu navigates you towards purchasing subscription but it is not necessary to view the scan.

Extra charges for the app. I returned because the app costs yearly the same price as the scanner. I'm not a mechanic. It's not useful enough to justify the extra $67.00

Works great on all my cars. Easy to use and easy to apply.

My fixd has been a life saver and no more guessing games!

Not really i forgot to returned but i guess is ok for older cars.

I would recommend this device to everyone with car.

Easy to view through the app. You don’t have to go look up what a code means and try to figure out the cost and where to go to get it fixed. This product does it all! One of the best things I ever bought for a car!

My car was showing an engine light, and this told me the exact code. That was the initial reason I bought it was the engine code, but this also performs battery tests which was crazy helpful. The app for it is pretty cool too as you can get live stats (fuel gauge, speed, etc) which is useful if your gauges ever go out!

It works. Engine light was on. Connect it and follow the directions and it fit my car issues.

This is a nice idea. It works very well. It’s cool to get information on the phone

I purchased this device to try and diagnose a problem I am having with my vehicle. The Device only gave me warnings for lights that I already knew were on, but were unrelated to my cars’s issue. I guess if you want to know what the lights on the dash are, this product will do the trick, but if you are trying to diagnose things unseen, maybe not the product for you. I’m keeping it but I thought maybe it was more advanced than it actually is.

It did what it was advertised to do. It showed me the code and what it meant. But best of all it allowed me to reset the light eliminating it from illumination. Well worth the price. In fact was offered another for strictly shipping costs by the company. I now have two of them!

Works well, doesn’t really do what I thought it would.

Saved me a trip to the garage the day I got it. Had a fault on wife’s car. FIXD pointed me to the problem and the solution quickly. Loose gas cap. Wow! Who knew. I do now. Thanks

This product is great, it is not expensive and the most I like is that it is portable, I can use it with my cell phone. The codes are easily searched and the explanations are very useful when considering the problem.

Very great gadget. I purchased a used vehicle and was able to get more codes than the seller could on his basic reader. I was able to get the vehicle fixed without paying for diagnostics and the vehicles runs like a champ. Saves money!

Best Buy is one of the “BEST” places to shop! The staff members are well trained and efficient; they are knowledgeable and helpful, courteous. Prices are compatible to other similar stores, and very important - they follow CDC guidelines.
