Make sure you hit a stud and this will hold your Play:5 securely. Unlike some cheap units I looked at before purchasing this more expensive model, the front lip that is responsible for keeping your $500 speaker from hitting the floor is metal and does not come off. Overall the mount feels well made and went up with no issues.

Mounts
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.These mounts do the trick if you want to mount only in the horizontal/side to side position. They don't do vertical. A little pricey to have those limits. Therefore I'll be looking for another set.

Didn't Work for Me

If you want things to look great, you'll need to have power near the mounts. Most people don't have outlets high on their walls, so this could be a problem. I'd like to see more examples online of people installing and mounting Sonos in corners and concealing the power outlets. In my opinion, this is the only drawback to Sonos as a home theater solution.
