Nice improvement in the graphics. I like the selection of aircraft. I have a Thrustmaster joystick for my controls. I am glad I went with the premium deluxe version for the extra aircraft and airports.

Taking advantage of the Internet, as well as new graphics and processing capabilities, this long awaited release of Microsoft Flight Simulator is the most realistic version yet. A must have for any simulator enthusiast!

This continues to be a great software title that gives users the experience of flying. It does however take hundreds of gigabytes to install so make sure you have a lot of space. This version additionally works with VR but we have not tried it yet.

Many people complain about this crashing. I have not run into that issue after a month of playing. Maybe they patched it up. Runs smoothly on high settings with a 2070. I am a pilot and this simulator has become a part of my flight planning. Airports and geography is accurate enough to make IFR flights to a new airport a breeze after doing a virtual practice run. I would love to get my hands on a 30 series graphics card and see how that handles this masterpiece.

I miss the older version this is too complicated. Its definitely an upgrade from the last one however it's hard to learn ..still great fun and the scenery and realism amazing

I've been waiting to try flight simulator and now that it's on a console I have. Graphics are amazing.

Bought this with an MSI GE66 raider laptop, (which has been great thank you) I had no problems at all with best buy's end of the download process. However after downloading and installing it through the microsoft store after best buy's email linked me, I cannot get the premium deluxe version's additional content to install. I have tried every fix I found in discussion boards and microsofts own help pages, still reads its not "currently available". Tried updating everything, wired ethernet connected, you name it. Hard to find a link to actual support. What plays in the standard version is okay, not quite as "photo realistic" as the hype made it to be (for instance San Diego has many less landmarks than FSX did such as the Belmont Amusement Park and Ocean Beach pier- just loads generic buildings). The frustration of spending hours and hours of head scratching and feeling like I paid $120 for a $60 game thats not much better than the one I paid $60 for 12 years ago leaves me disappointed in this purchase.

I've been a flight sim user for years and was disappointed when Microsoft retired the game after fsx. This version is awesome if you have a very powerful rig. Just wish it didn't have so many major updates for glitches

If your rig can handle it, this is the premier flight simulator.

One of the best flight sims man or woman can buy! Look ma I can see my house from here! (I'm not joking) Covid shut down your travel plans? Are you sad because you've always wanted to fly anywhere in the world but couldn't yet? Buy this game, yes not the same but it's as close to the real thing as you can get especially in VR. A++

Wow! as a student pilot, I wanted to this for practicing. It's much more than a game. Of course it would not run on my 2 year old laptop, so I invested in a new HP Omen 30L desktop. Running this with a 43" monitor is amazing. Happy I got the deluxe; much better selection of planes. Make sure you have a better-than-normal internet speed; it's a beast of a download (over 100gig). That said, I paired this with a Logitech yoke/power box, rudder pedals, Flight switch box flight communications module. wow; just like being in my Cessna!

Although the computer hardware requirements are steep, the payoff is worth it. A beautiful product with incredible realism.

Fun to play. Bit of a learning curve. You will spend a lot of time learning how to operate the game.

My daughter is starting flight school, we bought the simulator for her to get a feel of flight. She has really enjoyed it

If you can get this game to work, it is great! However, it took me 4+ tries over several days to download the game before it finally worked for the FIRST time. I tried to let it download overnight, but it would randomly hang while decompressing one file and keep re-writing the same files over and over again. Once I got it finally working, Microsoft issued a new patch and it would break the game again. Sometimes, it would crash at the initial load screen. Other times, it would make it into the game and then crash when trying to load a flight. After one of the updates, I ended up having to uninstall/reinstall. One shortcut is that once everything is actually working, copy the entire game files directory to a separate hard drive. It might take a while, but in the case things get bricked during an update, at least you can copy all those files back and restart from there instead of having to download the entire 100GB+ again. With the latest patch as of 11-16-2020, the game works again. This latest patched made things a little easier because it only downloads the "main program files" during setup, and then you can download additional content later (the different planes, etc), which reduces the chances of it hanging. Hopefully, the next patch won't break things (Fingers Crossed).
