I'm using an old joy stick and hoping to soon be able to get yoke, pedals, etc. Really enjoy returning to "flying" Flight Simulator.

I have learned enough basic to fly. It looks as real as you can get. Hope there is updates in the future.

The Best FS yet from Microsoft. Its been a long time since the last version but it was worth it...

Waited for their new release of flight sim. It was a good download and took awhile, but with it.

This could be a great game/simulator when it's developed. I installed it Dec. 25 and there is no documentation or user manual anywhere (not online or in the box). There is also no help key or tab in the game. When I went to the user forum I learned that many of the features have yet to be developed. In my case, the aileron controls do not work properly causing all of the planes to roll and crash shortly after takeoff. I have spent hours working on settings and have been unable to resolve it. Microsoft offers no help or support resource to inquire about it. To me this is unexcusable. I would wait at least a year before purchasing this.

This was absolutely the worst game to try to load. Took several tries and my son is a computer pro. Finally got it done but would never purchase again.

Downloaded this game for series x, the new planes do not work, and it overall broke my game. Do not get

Tried to download game. During download it said it was a bundle. Then it said bundle unavailable. Now my code is gone and I have nothing. What is going on???

Terrible program, only able to use a couple of times. then it gets all these bugs in it, do not waste your money on it.

Purchase the flight simulator but cannot use it because the graphic card needs to be upgraded and there isn’t any to be sold so the program just sits in the computer in limbo

I can't load on my computer. My computer is suppose to be a gaming computer. It's slow and freezes up. My computer has everything it list on the mim. requirements.

As always, Microsoft cannot make a product without bugs and crashes. Even on a new gaming machine. They release updates with bugs. FMS is complete junk and unreliable. Avoid long flight plans or there is a good chance the game will crash along with wasting hours of your time. Incomplete flight log for your time. I can go on and on. Buy X-Plane!

I'm running an i9-9900 with an RTX 2080ti and the best I can get is 1440p with avg 50's fps. 60fps at 10,000+ feet and 45 at <1000 feet. This game is a beast. Don't even try with AMD at this time. Poorly optomized. I'm sure it will get better but buyer beware! If you DO have a top-spec rig this game is the most beautiful photo-realistic flight sim ever made. Prepare to be dazzled...and slightly bored once you realize how boring it must be to be a pilot between takeoff and landing. Still a great way to virtual sightsee places you'll likely never visit IRL.

I decided to upgrade my old flight sim PC. I ordered the new flight sim online. Although I tried to install it several times, I could not. The seller’s tech support was not much help. I called Microsoft and also emailed the Aerosoft support company in Germany. Both were very helpful, although the Microsoft store’s support did a very good job helping me installing the new flight sim. If you are looking for support, then buy from the Microsoft store. Why bother buying anything without the support? Here are a few steps to help you install if you have difficulties: 1- Download Xbox and create an account. (This is the only game I have.) 2- From Settings, Gaming Services, advanced options, click Reset. 3- From Settings, Microsoft Store, advanced options, click Reset. 4- From Settings, Xbox, advanced options, click Reset. 5- Start the download. 6- Ask Microsoft support to call you if you are having problems, but you should not. The Microsoft support team was very helpful. Enjoy your game!

People, a lot of you are complaining about a prompt to insert a disk. turn off your Norton/ Bitdefender or whatever firewall and the game will load. Yes, there is no info about this glitch from Microsoft, but trust me, it will allow you to run the program if you do this

I have a respectable computer system and this game did not work on it. The game loaded, but it is stuck on "checking for updates." Apparently developers were only interested in achieving the ultimate in display and ignoring fully capable computers. There is a little help from Microsoft with this matter. New buyers should be aware.
