What a great product! I have two of these lights at my house to supplement two Ring doorbell cameras. Both of my motion light cameras are soffit mounted and are about 14 feet from the ground. For anyone, wondering these can be wall-mounted or (ceiling or) soffit type mounted. This was a question I had when I was purchasing mine. Installation is quite simple and straightforward. This product performs outstanding! The lights are bright, they are adjustable, and the motion sensor has about a 180 degree range of detection. The camera is crystal clear in both daytime as well as at night with the light on. The night vision is great too. The bird’s eye view feature is great as is linking of my Ring devices together. When one motion sensor detects motion, all my linked lights on the exterior of my home illuminate.
The only downside is the price. $250 is pricey, but for what it offers and its exceptional performance, it was money well spent.
The photos are daytime, night vision (no light illuminated) and nighttime with light on.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PROSUCT!

Definitely glad I upgraded and got the Pro version. The Birds eye view is a good option. Installation was extremely easy with existing wiring. This has already came in handy unless first week catching my lawn care service not completing the job but trying to bill me full price. FloodLight lights up my entire 1/3 acre backyard.

I purchased this floodlight to enhance security in my backyard and replace an existing one. Initially, I was concerned about the installation process since it came with six hardware packets. However, the printed instructions were comprehensive and provided detailed instructions for multiple installation options. The number of screws required depends on the electric box to which the floodlight will be mounted. Once the mounting bracket is securely attached to the box using the appropriate screws, the back plate is attached to the bracket. The most convenient feature is the strap that suspends the weight of the front plate (containing the wires, lights, and camera) while you connect all the wires. The screwdriver blades on the handle can be easily removed to transform it into a nut driver for the final bolts securing the front plate. Before turning on the power, ensure you have installed the Ring app and have the QR code provided in the instructions. This is a crucial step in the setup process. The Ring app is user-friendly and offers a wide range of notification options. If you have multiple cameras, you can customize the alert sound for each one. Overall, I highly recommend this floodlight and would definitely purchase it again.

This light is bright and you even have the option to keep the light on at a scheduled time. Video is great and picks up movement set when it was installed and covers a large area.

This is a great camera with many options! The quality of the pictures/videos is very clear. I especially like the video/motion settings/options you can set. I would like a little larger range for the motion sensitivity settings, however. Impressed with the bird's eye zones you can set too. You have options you can set and change with motion and lighting schedules that you can set differently for each day. All around impressed with this product and glad I upgraded to a Ring.
On the downside, was not expecting to have to pay monthly fee subscription to be able to save my videos.

If you've ever installed outdoor floodlight cameras before you'll really appreciate how nice Ring has made this entire product. It truly is easy. Just identify the power source and turn it off. Mount the base, connect the wires, and install on the wall. Get your phone and connect to the device. Setup is so simple with the Ring app too. You'll be glad you go this because you'll see a lot more happening than you ever knew before.

awesome camera and spot lights, had bought another brand and after weeks of trying to get them to stay hooked up to the internet i gave up and returned them and bought these ring cameras with spotlights and they were so easy to install and to get them linked to the internet that i was mad at myself for not buying them in the first place. Also the cameras pictures are so clear and vivid, worth every penny

Ring floodlights are amazingly easy to use and install. I like them much better than Arlo. They are very sensitive to activity, even if my vehicle is parked on the street in front of my home. You can set your perimeter where you want it. You can set the volume for the voice activated warning that the person is being recorded for low in the AM and high in the PM. It has been such a wonderful deterent, and I've seen less activity at nightime since owning it. Potential threats walkk down the other side of my street now! I feel safer!! Great quality. Price is right, and service price is right! Thanks Ring!

This is a perfect for our backyard. The floodlight is powerful. Still experimenting with the sensitivity but know that just takes a little fine tuning. We had power at the installation spot but the Geeks were not allowed to do the electrical work so we had to have an electrician come and do the actual installation. After that was complete, I was able to get it up and running on the app. Very easy to follow explanation on how to do so.

Pictures are awesome. They take up a wide area around my house. I feel safer having the 2 Ring Floodlight Cameras. The white one looks nice on my house.

I like either one, but I paid 50 extra dollars for this version and it’s awesome. I have four total floodlight cameras. I just put one where every light outside had a switch for the original light that was out there. You just have to keep your switch on. I like to use the switch because if I ever have to reset the camera, I can just flip the switch off and back on.

I bought this when i bought my house. I moved down the street from my parents house and i can see their driveway from the view on this camera. The image is great as long as my wifi is strong otherwise it can be a bit grainy at times. I liked it so much i bought one for my parents.
